IFS-informed Coach | Parts Work | Inner Conflict & Change

About us

I offer IFS-informed personal coaching for people navigating inner conflict, transition and change.

You may be facing a decision, a shift in identity, a relationship pattern, a loss of confidence, or a sense that something in your life no longer fits. Often the presenting issue is practical - work, family, relationships, purpose, confidence or career, but underneath it there may be different parts of you pulling in different directions.

My work is to help you slow down, listen inwardly, and meet those parts with more clarity, compassion and choice.

My coaching is informed by Internal Family Systems, executive coaching and systemic practice. In simple terms, IFS recognises that we all have different parts of ourselves: parts that protect, strive, please, avoid, criticise, withdraw, perform, or carry old pain. Rather than trying to force change, we become curious about what these parts are trying to do for you.

People often come to me around:

  • Life transitions and questions of identity
  • Confidence, self-doubt and inner criticism
  • Emotional patterns that feel hard to shift
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Men exploring masculinity, belonging and emotional expression
  • Work pressure, leadership, purpose or career change
  • Early experiences, including boarding school, family dynamics or inherited patterns
  • A desire to live with more inner steadiness and authenticity

I work in a calm, respectful and collaborative way. I do not see coaching as advice-giving or fixing. I see it as a protected space in which you can listen more deeply to yourself and discover what wants to emerge.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an IFS-trained coach, executive coach and systemic team coach.

My training and experience include:

  • Internal Family Systems training, including IFS Levels 1 and 2
  • Ongoing IFS supervision and continuing professional development
  • Executive and systemic team coach training with the Academy of Executive Coaching
  • EMCC Senior Practitioner-level coaching experience
  • Leadership Circle Profile certified practitioner
  • Experience with a range of psychometric and leadership development tools, including Hogan, MBTI, FIRO-B and Immunity to Change
  • MSc in Organisational Behaviour
  • Chartered Accountant background

Before developing my independent coaching practice, I spent many years working in leadership, learning and organisational development, including as Director of Knowledge, Learning and Development in a leading UK law firm. This gives me a strong understanding of the pressures people can carry in demanding professional environments.

My personal and professional journey has led me towards work that integrates psychological depth, embodied awareness and practical change. I am particularly interested in how protective patterns develop, how people carry early or inherited burdens, and how coaching can help restore a more compassionate relationship with ourselves.

Additional information

My fee is £65 per 60-minute session.

I offer an initial introductory conversation free of charge. This gives us a chance to explore what you are looking for, whether my approach feels right for you, and whether working together feels like a good fit.

Sessions are usually held online.

Some people come for a focused piece of work over a few sessions; others choose to work more regularly over a longer period. We can discuss what would best support you during the introductory conversation.

Further information

I offer an initial conversation so that we can explore what you are looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.

Sessions are usually held online, although in-person work may be possible by arrangement. I work with adults and offer a confidential, respectful and non-judgemental space.

IFS-informed coaching is not about diagnosing, analysing or trying to fix you. It is about helping you develop a different relationship with yourself. Many people find that when they can meet their inner critic, anxiety, avoidance, anger, shame or self-doubt with more curiosity, something begins to soften and new choices become possible.

My style is gentle, grounded and direct where helpful. I bring warmth, steadiness and depth, while keeping the work connected to your real life, relationships and choices.
