About me

My name is Kat, I'm a qualified coach, specialising in grief and loss, and relationships coaching for adults. I also build compassionate confidence in teens through coaching and mentoring.

As your Coach, I know that the journey you’re about to embark on may be daunting, but I promise I will harness the strengths I’ve gained through personal and professional experience to ensure you have a safe space to feel, express your needs, and live the future you want.

I am passionate about people, and I believe we can all reach our highest potential with the right support. As your Coach, I am truly invested in your well-being and progress. I will support you to find the words to own your losses, live life alongside your grief, discover your strengths and your identity, and rebuild relationships where communication has broken down.

I worked for over ten years as a nurse, specialising in women’s health and early pregnancy. With the support of a workplace coach, however, I realised something was missing and I wasn’t living life in line with my values and dreams. I knew I loved my speciality, and I knew I cared deeply for the people I supported, but I needed something else. I needed to become a Coach.

I had seen the benefits myself, and so embarked on my coaching training with The Coaching Academy. I knew language could make a real difference to our experiences of life and loss, and through combining my nursing, coaching, personal experiences of loss, narrative therapy and my language teaching skills, Lost Words was established.
