About me

I am an integrated counsellor, coach, and trauma therapist, with a PGDip in Personal Consultancy. I specialise in helping people move forward in their lives; away from anxiety, stress and lack of direction, and towards a full and healthy life that energises and excites them.

I believe that all of us can improve our situations- whether it is personal or business orientated. Each of us can learn what has been holding us back from achieving our desires and find a new pathway to success. You may want to make a life-changing shift such as attaining a high powered job or starting up your own business, or you may want to focus on aspects of your personal life such as improving your relationships, communication skills, health, spirituality or increasing your confidence.

Through an integrated model of coaching and counselling skills I can help you find your own way through the confusion, and move towards the future that you want. All you need is motivation and commitment.

I am also experienced and qualified in working with people who have undergone various forms of trauma; ranging from developmental trauma during childhood, to traumas such as bullying, car crashes, rape, attacks, and war experiences. I help people recover their sense of self and full potential after suffering shocks and prolonged exposure to damaging relationships.

I work in an empathic, non-judgmental arena, and believe that respect and an honest relationship are the backbone to the effectiveness of the work. You can rest assured that the content of the sessions is kept in complete confidentiality, and I encourage honest feedback throughout; this will help both of us learn about what methods work best for you, what you may need, and what challenges you are encountering.

Training, qualifications & experience

BSc (hons), PG.Dip. Personal Consultancy (Integrative Counselling and Coaching). Dip trauma Therapy. EMDR Therapy. Reiki Master.

Member of AICTP ( Association of Integrative Coach-Therapist Professionals) and the BACP. (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy)

I am a trained and qualified Personal Consultant, Coach, Counsellor and Trauma Therapist, with 20 years of experience of helping people across a broad "well-being" spectrum. I have coached and counselled executives who have been under enormous pressure to excel in their performance, needing to lead their organisations to the top of their industry, and at the other end of the spectrum, I have managed residential care for people with acute & chronic mental health issues, helping them recover a sense of self, safety, and autonomy as they have struggled to hold their daily lives together. I have provided trauma therapy to dedicated and accomplished war veterans who have suffered trauma and loss of self through their duties; assisting them to rid themselves of the horrors of war and find a way to re-establish themselves back in civilian life. Each of my clients have had their challenges and successes. Each has required my understanding, empathy, and a genuine and caring relationship with me as their Coach or Therapist.

I believe that to be a good coach or consultant to you I need to develop an honest and trustworthy relationship with you. One in which I can challenge you when necessary- at times pushing you outside your comfort zone and encouraging you to think and act differently. I will also highlight your strengths and successes when you don't recognise them. I will help you go further, see more possibilities, expand your thinking, increase your abilities, enhance your performance and improve your quality of life.
