About me

I'm a Life Coach, NLP Master Practitioner and self-taught Mixed Media Artist.

Confidence is an inner resource that we can all access.

Our limiting beliefs about ourselves are all that stand in the way of connecting and using confidence in our daily lives. It's certainly not easy to let go of these long-held beliefs alone, however with a Coach the results can be transformational and literally life-changing!

None of us ever received a manual for life and how to live a good one. I work with clients helping them to negotiate life's problems. I use powerful techniques for overcoming overwhelm and negativity enabling them to move forward and be content and happy with themselves and life.

I'm based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire and I work with people from all walks of life on a range of challenges and problems, over the phone and in person.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as a Life Coach, studied and received certificates in Coaching, Hypnosis, Reiki, Shamanic Reiki and to Prov. Trainer level in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

I came to Coaching by way of administration and management within the Mental Health Services in Nottinghamshire including private Medium Secure Units. I also worked as a Manager within the Charity Sector for ChildLine and as a Sure Start Manager for the Family Welfare Association.

In 2010 I decided to pursue my dream of being an Artist and I now teach Mixed Media Art Journal workshops. I have developed a mindfulness process which includes painting and collage and is therapeutic and accessible for everyone.

I also teach workshops in Nottinghamshire in Art, Mindfulness & Well-Being, Altered Book Art Journal and Just Junk Art Journalling and Vision Board workshops.

Testimonial from David:

"I am a business/executive coach myself and Fay has been my coach now for eight years which in itself, says a lot about what I think of her and the value I get from working with her. Fay doesn’t position herself specifically as a business coach, which I initially thought may mean she would be less effective in helping me in my business life, but her coaching skills, the questions she asks and the conversations she initiates, have proven very effective in helping me tackle the challenges I face in my business life. As I should know being a coach myself, having a great knowledge of the client’s world is not necessary, if fact, an absence of a detailed understanding can be an absolute advantage in a coaching relationship.

A couple of times during our relationship, I have wondered if it was time to quit - I was unclear in my mind about the value I should expect moving forward as we’d successfully tackled many topics and I didn’t see what there was left to work on. But then Fay goes and pulls a rabbit out of the hat in terms of delivering huge value in a session for which I had little agenda – I wish I had her talent!

I no longer question our relationship as I know that I consistently get great value from it. In fact, I’d say that I can’t remember a session that hasn’t been notably useful and helpful to me and I now expect to be a client of Fay's until she tells me she no longer wants to work with me!"

Testimonial from Amarjit:

“I had a coaching session with Fay and before the session I was feeling very negative about life, but when I spoke to Fay she really made me feel better. She made me realise that I was using a lot of negative words in my everyday language, which I wasn’t even aware of.  Fay gave me the confidence to get up and start my own business, and I definitely needed that. I would definitely recommend Fay as a personal coach. She is a genuine sincere kind person”. Thank you Fay."

Testimonial from Jo:

“I was amazed at the immediate shift in my thinking. I feel highly motivated and positive, knowing I can have the future I desire.”

Testimonial from Marie:

“My session with Fay was brilliant...I would say to anyone considering a session, GO FOR IT!”
