About me

How do you feel when you hear the word travel? Are you intrigued by the thought of what your life could be like if you spent 6 months backpacking around one or more of the seven continents, or how about a month working remotely in a beach destination in Europe? Perhaps you have lived a wanderlust life already and the word 'travel' excites you about where you have been and what you have been so incredibly humbled to experience?

I'm Chloe Gosiewski, pronounced Gosh-Es-Ski and I am a solo female traveller and digital nomad, qualified life coach and member of the Association for Coaching, specialising in the unique and highly transformational combination of Travel and Personal Development.

If you have been travelling and are now finding yourself in limbo with what to do next (let's face it, you can never go back to living how you did pre-travel, you've changed too much - square peg, round hole and all that), whether that is a change in career or starting a business, or maybe you are battling with procrastination and decision making and are needing a bit of help to overcome it. I can help you.

If you have not been travelling but you are feeling stuck, stagnant and in need of finding the solution to the old age question "what do I want to with my life" and you get this feeling in the pit of your stomach that you want to travel and explore new cultures and places, like your soul is calling across the ocean for you to go and find yourself in the unknown - then travel coaching is for you.

On the 18th of October 2016, I was sat at London City airport at 5 o'clock in the morning, trying not to throw up as I repeatedly told myself this was a good idea. I had quit my job, sold my flat and car and now all I owned was the gigantic suitcase that I dragged along behind me. I was doing it. I was on my own and I had no idea what was going to happen, but for the first time in a long time, I felt liberated and excited.

After a series of unfortunate events, I had found myself in a low and dark place. I felt unfulfilled, lonely, stagnant and without a purpose. I needed to get as far away from my life as I possibly could and figure out who I was and what I wanted. The original plan was to spend 6 months in Panama, I was going to write a book that I had started years before but never finished and beyond that, no idea.

Why Panama? I saw it on season 3 of Prison Break and I thought, that looks cool.

However, the universe had a different plan for me and by this point, I had completely let go. I had told myself that I was dropping all expectations, because quite frankly, my pre-planned life hadn’t panned out the way I’d hoped at all, so now I was handing the wheel over to something else and I am so happy that I did, because I actually spent 6 months backpacking through Central America.

I ditched the suitcase and multiple pairs of shoes *sob, and brought myself a backpack and during those six months, I visited Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico and Colombia.

I learnt to surf, scuba dive, (I cruised along with a hawksbill turtle and instantly my appreciation for this incredible planet just exploded), I hiked up a volcano and boarded down it. I spent weeks at a time on beaches. Beach parties, sunsets, sunbathing. I saw incredible places and made life-changing friendships. I swam with a whale shark. I swam with wild dolphins and released baby turtles into the sea and above all else, I got to know who I was, without all my conditioning. I got to seriously think about what I wanted to achieve with my life and the impact I wanted to have on the world.

I continue to travel, mostly alone and for shorter periods because I have fallen in love with the person I become when I am discovering my place within a new culture or in the conversations with new friends that grew up in a completely different country to me. I fell in love with the strength and independence that I developed as a solo female traveller.

Clients that Chloe has worked with in the past have reported positive results after their sessions and below, some have shared their own views and what they have experienced as a result of their time together.

Breaking out of procrastination and taking the step the move overseas.

I wanted to break out of the procrastination routine. Chloe genuinely took an interest in helping me to create some change, keeping me accountable, motivating and even the positive comments and reinforcements came into play to help that change. She remembered everything we discussed the previous week and then she would follow up on it and then we would make new plans, with specifics. Getting the meditations from this program and actually trying them has made a believer out of me and I will continue with them because I can see what it does. Sometimes you have to go to the place you least expect to find that change. Erik Henry - USA

Processing lots of thoughts and creating a plan of action.

I'd been feeling for quite a while that I needed a bit of help to focus lots of different thoughts I was having on the future direction of my life when I found Chloe to help me with some life coaching. She really helped to tease out all the different thoughts I'd been having and through some good questioning helped me to form them into a coherent plan. We broke it down into weekly actions and having someone to be accountable to really helped keep me on track. I'd recommend Chloe wholeheartedly.  J Walsh - Surrey, UK

Identifying your ideal career that compliments your love for travel.

It was a pleasure working with Chloe! I was stuck in a rut and in 4 sessions, Chloe helped me get re-energized about my life and my future. We set small attainable goals each week that made me feel inspired and it was really nice to have her check-in and hold me accountable. It's hard for me to open up about my emotions, but I felt very comfortable sharing with Chloe without feeling any judgment. And lastly, she helped me set daily healthy habits that I still incorporate into my life after our sessions. I would highly recommend Chloe with your journey! Stephanie Lay, USA
