What will you do?
So I share with you today a question I've used a lot.
Q. Imagine you are 80yrs old and having a big celebration surrounded by friends, family and all the people you care about. What are the things you want them to remember you for?
- What will be your achievements they mention?
- What type of person would you have been to them?
Now I don't know about you,but when I first came across this question it stopped me straight in my tracks it got me thinking about my past. The people I've meet, the places I've been, the things I've achieved, the experiences I've had good and bad. Then most importantly it got me thinking about the here and now and my future at that point in my life. This question become a power thought in my mind and not only for myself but I've seen it change the minds of many of my clients.
Now there are many variations to the above question and many questions that follow it after. However the bottom line is that whether we like it all not we will all be remembered for something.
But what that something is, is really left up to you and me.
So you are now here, your reading this article so I will safely assume your life has started. Whether your a teenager, in your 20's, 30's, or 40+ a man, a women, a parent, a business owner whatever the case maybe. Your living this life, in your own costume (body). The past has gone, the present is here and your future is a day away.
What will you do with a day?
What will you do with a week?
What will you do with a month?
What will you do with a year?
''The future is yours, see it, believe it and take it.''
