Hi! We’re Sarah and Morwenna, coaches navigating the wild world of running our own businesses as neurodivergent solopreneurs.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve tried to find ND-friendly events and ended up trying to maintain eye contact while balancing a coffee and a notebook, all while someone tries to sell you something you definitely don’t need.

Eventually, we realised we weren’t going to networking events to hunt for clients; we just wanted a proper, supportive community of people in the same boat. This is that.

Spark and Anchor is a supportive community where networking meets coaching for neurodivergent folks doing their own thing. No awkward small talk. No elevator pitches. No boring presentations.

Just a welcoming space to step away from the daily solo slog, work through real business hurdles and build meaningful connections with people who truly get it. And who knows, you might just find someone to collaborate with along the way.

Here’s what you get at every gathering:

  • Guided breakout chats: Your chance to connect with fellow business builders and spark fresh ideas without the awkwardness.
  • Group coaching exercise: Facilitated by Sarah or Morwenna, tackling real-world themes shaped directly by community input.
  • A practical self-coaching tool to work on in your own time.

The theme for our very first session is putting you back at the heart of your business. After all, you are your business!

What to expect

  • a warm, relaxed online space where you can genuinely be yourself;
  • conversation prompts (we’ll share these beforehand!);
  • small breakout groups (and if you’d rather sit them out, that’s completely fine!);
  • agenda details shared ahead of time, so there are no surprises.

There's a WhatsApp group to join, so no need to worry about catching everyone’s names during the session.

Zero pressure. Camera on or off, come exactly as you are. Join in as much or as little as feels comfortable for you. Feel free to let us know beforehand.

About your hosts

Sarah is a coach and trainer specialising in all things neurodiversity. She is neurodivergent herself, works with individuals who want to understand themselves and their careers better, and delivers training to organisations to help managers feel more comfortable working with neurodiversity.

Prior to this, Sarah had over 15 years working operationally and in consultancy with the NHS. She enjoys now having the freedom to manage her own energy and time!

Morwenna [mor-weh-nuh] is a life and career coach who works with busy-brained individuals. ADHD herself, she is passionate about helping folk create lives and careers that actually feel good, and crucially, they don’t burn out. Prior to becoming a coach, Morwenna spent over a decade as a senior marketing leader for brands like easyJet, Intrepid Travel and MoneySuperMarket.

Who it’s for

Freelancers, consultants, founders, small business owners: anyone building their own thing who identifies as neurodivergent or simply wants to hang out with people who get it.

A note

As this is our inaugural gathering, expect a raw and authentic vibe – we’re wholeheartedly embracing the done-is-better-than-perfect mantra! We have grand plans brewing and want you right alongside us, so expect us to ask for your thoughts and input.
