Delegate to develop: Building self-sufficient teams
A free 30-minute lunchtime taster on delegation for leaders and organisations, with an optional 30-minute live Q&A with Zoë Thompson.
About the event
Everything comes through you. The questions, the decisions, the “can you just have a quick look at this?” Most leaders know they should delegate more. But what usually happens is allocation: tasks get shifted around, quality slips, and it all lands back on your desk. So you decide it’s quicker to do it yourself, and the cycle continues.
Delegation done well does more than clear your plate. It builds a team that’s confident, capable and able to run without you.
By the end of this free lunchtime taster session, you will:
- Understand the difference between delegation and allocation, and why only one builds capability
- Know what to delegate, when, how and to whom
- Leave with a practical approach to the conversation that makes delegation stick, so your team develops confidence, not dependence.
How it works
- 12:00 to 12:30 – practical, focused content you can use that afternoon.
- 12:30 to 13:00 – optional open Q&A. Bring your real delegation challenges, your team’s challenges or your organisation’s challenges.
Who it’s for
Leaders, managers and business owners who are tired of being the bottleneck. It’s also for anyone in HR, L&D or senior leadership who wants a feel for what a lunch and learn or workshop with Zoë looks like for their teams.
Please note: this session is not recorded, so join live to get the full value.
