About me

Moving from lost dreams or tragedy towards purpose and hope

There are times in life when bad things happen – dreams are shattered, tragedy strikes, life will never be the same again. As we are going through these times, supporting those we love the best we can, we just do what we need to do that day……..we cannot think any further ahead and our minds are unable to think with any clarity.

Some time goes by, essential activities and events fill your week and a “new normal” begins to emerge. But you feel void of purpose, activities you used to enjoy no longer hold your attention and (perhaps) you are thrown into a challenging new world of unknowns.

You may have received terrific support from family and friends, been helped to grieve and understand what has happened by a counselor, and now you want to move forward…….. but you feel unable to go on that journey alone.

A new person to listen, support, inspire and encourage you – to help you gain clarity about what you want, discover ways to look after yourself and to cherish those you love. A person who will help you to find new purpose, new confidence, new energy…..and renewed hope.

As a qualified and experienced life coach, I would love to be that person for you. I don’t have all the answers but I will help you as you find them for yourself.

I am enjoying being in my 50s and have three children in their  20s. I have experienced my own share of life’s ups and downs like many of us, and I have discovered the amazing results that coaching brings, both as a client and as I have coached others.

Two recent clients wrote to me at the end of their coaching series:

"I can't thank you enough Joanne for accompanying me on this journey of discovery these last few months. It has been so helpful to be guided through a process with some structure and I always felt reassured that I was moving forwards. I have greatly valued your listening, perceptive feedback, challenging questions and encouragement to set goals and report back about progress.

I was amazed to see that when we reviewed the various areas of my life at the end of the series of sessions, I was in a considerably better 'place' than before I had started. The coaching has enabled me to clarify the path ahead and I am excited to be moving forwards and to experience more fulfillment and growth as I do so.

I have really enjoyed the process with you Joanne. You were just the right person for me at this time."                                                          Jackie, Haslemere

"I am so pleased that I had the good sense to commission you as my compass back in January. I would most certainly not have found my feet within 6 months (within 6 months!!) had I not done so. I was completely without any view of the future or of myself and you helped me turn around – I shall always be extremely grateful for the time you sent with me."    Christopher, Guildford
