About us
You don't go back to who you were. You begin again from where you are.
I can help you regain the confidence to choose and the courage to build what comes after a significant life transition.
In 2023, in my forties, I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. This was the beginning of a prolonged period of treatment, one that would redefine me and make me re-evaluate so much of what I had come to know.
When I completed my treatment I expected to feel like the hardest part was behind me. Instead, I felt lost and alone and like I was starting all over again, without a script, and without quite knowing who I was.
My experience taught me what it means to walk a path with little direction and with minimal support. It's why I now want to help others feel able to pause, process and begin again after a significant transition, with the comfort of knowing there is someone to help them unlock positive and lasting change.
My cancer experience, together with more than twenty years in HR and leadership development, a degree and masters in psychology, and my accredited training in coaching, is the foundation of my practice today. It informs how I listen, how I ask questions, and how I hold space for you. But more than any credential, I bring the understanding of someone who has stood in that space after - when everything feels different, the life you knew no longer fits, and the path ahead has yet to take shape.
Today I work with people in the space after - after something significant has happened, and life doesn't quite feel like it's yours. That might be after illness or treatment, the end of a relationship, a career that's fallen away, children leaving home, or any moment that's left you wondering who you are and what comes next.
Together, we work toward:
- Identity - a clearer sense of who you are now, and who you're becoming
- Confidence - rebuilding trust in yourself and finding the courage to take the next step
- Making peace with loss - be it through illness, bereavement, divorce, or the life you thought you would have
- Agency - rediscovering that you have choices, and that the next chapter is yours to shape
- Hope - the ability to imagine, and move toward, what's possible again
Sessions are typically an hour, online or in person, and we contract for the right number to give space for real change to unfold, with the flexibility to continue if you feel there's more progress to be made.
Whatever has brought you here, something is telling you it's time to begin again, even if you're not yet sure what that looks like. What matters most isn't the event itself, but the life you build in its place - I'd be honoured to help you get there.

Testimonials:
"Hannah made me feel safe, held and never judged. She had a gift for taking my outpouring of thoughts and helping me turn them into insights and possible ways forward. I felt able to find peace with my situation, even when the things I brought to her were difficult. I learned and grew so much over our time together." Elizabeth, The Space After loss
"Working with Hannah has been transformative. Her skill, presence and experience create a safe space where she adapts with ease to whatever challenges I bring. By balancing compassionate support with thoughtful challenge, her questions have unlocked key areas in my life. She hasn't just helped me find clarity, she has empowered me to take real, decisive action." Ben, The Space After an ADHD diagnosis
"Hannah has helped me to accept the parts of myself I've long struggled with. I recently experienced a significant career change which meant letting go of my old professional identity and building a life that felt more authentic to me. Hannah helped me navigate the intense emotions that came with this and empowered me when self-doubt crept in. Hannah has made me feel seen, supported and able to move forward at my own pace." Patrice, The Space After a career change
