About me
For more than thirty years I have worked in and around complex organisations, at the intersection of technology, business and people. Throughout my career I have been fascinated by how individuals, teams and organisations navigate change, improve performance and lead effectively. That interest led me to leadership development, organisational performance and executive coaching.
Today I work as an Executive Coach and Organisational Leadership Consultant supporting entrepreneurs, senior leaders and teams facing the realities of leadership in demanding, complex environments.
My work helps leaders and teams decide what matters, where to focus, and how to relate. Whether the challenge is organisational change, team dynamics, leadership effectiveness or individual growth, the goal is the same: greater clarity, productive relationships, better decision-making and more sustainable outcomes.
With a background in engineering, software development, technology leadership and organisational transformation, I bring both technical and organisational perspectives to the human challenges of leadership and change.
Before establishing my own practice, I spent nine years at IBM working with teams, managers and senior leaders across a range of industries and organisational contexts. I saw first-hand that many leadership challenges are not simply individual problems. They emerge from the interaction between people, relationships, structures, incentives and culture. Sustainable change requires understanding both the human dynamics and the wider system in which they operate.
Through the Arbinger Institute’s Outward Mindset framework, I deliver leadership development programmes that help individuals and teams develop greater awareness of self and organisational dynamics. I have specialist training in coaching neurodivergent professionals and supporting individuals to succeed within complex organisational environments.
My clients value a combination of challenge, reflection and practical thinking. They are often navigating ambiguity, growth, transformation, competing priorities or difficult leadership situations. Together we work to develop the clarity, judgement and leadership capability needed to move forward effectively in complex environments.
My qualifications include: ICF-CPCC (Co-Active Professional Certified Coach), Arbinger Institute Certified Lead Facilitator & Executive Coach, ICAgile Certified Enterprise Agile Coach, and Coaching for Neurodivergent Individuals (Oxford Brookes Business School).
