About me

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of happiness in our lives, but they can also leave us feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed or questioning ourselves.

Whether you're navigating dating, challenges within your relationship, a breakup, relationship uncertainty or recurring patterns that seem to follow you from one relationship to the next, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of what's happening and explore a way forward.

My coaching combines thoughtful, therapeutic conversations with practical strategies, helping you better understand yourself, your relationships and the patterns shaping how you think, feel and connect with others.

That understanding is only the beginning. Once we have greater clarity about what's happening and what you want moving forward, we'll develop practical ways to help you create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with individuals and couples both online and in person from my Brighton practice.

Testimonials

Lorna (Hove) - Nicole has helped me massively through various life transitions, particularly around an avoidant attachment style, building confidence and leaning into my values. I still use the tools I learnt through Nicole to support me make positive changes in my life and remind myself of my values and what's important to me. Nicole is a warm and positive presence who kept me accountable and focused to make the changes that were important to me. I think its difficult to find a good coach in todays world, where it seems everyone is wearing that hat, but Nicole is brilliant and I would highly recommend.

Craig (Brighton) - I can’t recommend Nicole more highly. She surpassed everything I’d hoped for from a couples coach (such as perspective, being given a toolkit, to be heard etc). She was knowledgable, warm, patient, sharp and most of all- genuinely invested. She followed up each time in writing with her summary, reflections, and things for us to consider and try. She helped guide us through some really difficult conversations and we found it so much easier to navigate things and make progress with her there. Nicole is an experienced professional and a lovely woman!

Clara (Germany) - Nicole has been nothing but amazing and caring from the get go! We’ve only had a couple of sessions so far but the way she phrases questions and the tasks she gives you (very quickly after the session) are fantastic! I used to coach as well so I have very high expectations and Nicole met them all :) I’m so excited for this journey together and I know the outcomes will only be great! One of the greatest things is also that no matter how bad you think some of your behaviours are - she won’t judge you. Just gently help you through it so don’t be scared to share your worst sides as well! Thank you Nicole! ♥️

Caroline (Sussex) - Working with Nicole was an absolute pleasure. She managed to break down one of the most challenging events with practical, reassuring and compassionate advice and tools. Nicole offered a calm, safe space to share really difficult thoughts and feelings and we never failed to leave the session with greater clarification and understanding of our own actions. It was so helpful to receive communication after our sessions that solidified our conversations and information that offered greater understanding and tools to implement positive change. We will forever be grateful for Nicole’s support and encouragement.

Jeremy (West Sussex) - Working with Nicole has been an incredible experience. She has helped me gain deep insights into my relationships, my attachment style, and my personal growth in ways I never could have on my own. Her guidance has been invaluable in understanding and resolving challenges, allowing me to grow into a better version of myself. I truly appreciate her support, wisdom, and compassionate approach. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking clarity and growth in their relationships and self-understanding!

Sarah -  We found Nicole when we came to a point in our relationship where we would have the same argument and then the hangover from the argument would last longer and longer each time due to being unable to communicate and years of not talking properly and resentment. Nicole took the time and effort to get to know us individually and as a couple and really worked with us both around communication & triggers. We found Nicole to be very honest with each of us around work that was needing both individually and together and gave us useful at home tasks to complete to then complement communication and conversations in the sessions.

Therapy is hard work, emotionally draining and very humbling but we both knew that we wanted to continue to be a unit but found us hitting the same wall with heightened resentment and anger over and over again.

Nicole helped us greatly to remember why we wanted to remain as a couple but also how to communicate wants / needs and issues without it ending up in a shouting match and then three days of passive aggressive silence! Thank you Nicole.

Molly (London) - I came to Nicole after the breakdown of a relationship, wanting support with understanding how to not let it affect me in the future. Nicole helped me learn how to interrupt negative thinking, reframe unhelpful thoughts and understand what I wanted for myself going forward and how to achieve it. I now feel like I understand who I am more than ever and am living a life that makes me truly happy. I can't recommend her enough!

Stephanie (Hove) - I went to Nicole after the end of a long term relationship as I wanted to understand myself better and close the chapter on my relationship. I was confused by why it hadn’t worked for me, and wanted to put my past behind me so I could be ready for whatever came next.

From the very first call, Nicole was warm, welcoming and I found it very easy to connect with her - which continued throughout our coaching journey. She listened, was empathetic and helped me navigate through the confusion, anxiety and insecurities I was facing.

She introduced many useful strategies such as reframes, which I still use today. These were all easy to implement into my daily life and helped me rationalise and deal with any unhelpful thoughts. She provided after session summaries, with ideas for reflection and personal development work - always checking that this is what I wanted. She helped me to see how I was progressing and celebrated this with me.

I can now proudly say that I’ve put my old relationship to bed and am ready to move forward, feeling more confident than before navigating through the dating world.

Morgan - Nicole made me feel at ease from the very beginning, listening attentively and giving well-founded advice and methods of coping. The additional material that she recommended I read was truly effective and allowed me to gain a better understanding and insight into my situation. She provided me with support and clarity, offering guidance which has helped me through a drastic life event, re-established a strong relationship with my husband and, most significantly, improved the relationship that I have with myself. My personal improvement thanks to Nicole’s sessions has been so noticeable that it has even encouraged some of my friends to look for counselling help with their personal issues. Nicole has single handedly restored my faith in seeking external help when you need it. I cannot recommend her enough.

Poppy - I first got in touch with Nicole because I wanted some help with dating and understanding more about my attachment style, I didn’t want to let it get in the way of my relationships anymore. I knew a bit about what had caused me to have an avoidant attachment style but I wasn’t sure how to move on from it or if that was even possible to do. Nicole reassured me from the beginning that it is possible to move past it and she was confident that she could help, just hearing that made me feel really positive. Nicole is such a warm and welcoming person and, although I was very nervous before the first session, I felt comfortable with her straight away. Working with Nicole has helped me to boost my self esteem and create a positive image of myself, my outlook has changed a lot since I first reached out to her. She set me homework after each session and explained exactly how it would help and why it was important. This allowed me to work on myself outside of the sessions as well as during, which is essential in this process. The biggest takeaway I have from this experience is the positive reframes we set together. This was such a useful tool and I continue to use them every day to keep my mind thinking positively about myself and the things around me. Using relaxing visualisations also helped me to think about my attachment injury and to see it for what it was in order to move on from it. Overall my experience with Nicole has been an amazing journey and I cannot thank her enough, she’s done so much to help me and I’m very grateful for this
