About us

Updated April 2024

April & May are a time of renewal and growth, Spring is in full swing in our gardens, public places, parks and woodlands.  Spring can be a symbolic time to start fresh, set new goals, and make positive changes in your life. It is also a great time to start working with someone like myself to prepare for the summer months, whether it's setting fitness goals, planning holidays, or focusing on personal development to make the most out of the upcoming season.

April & May can also be an opportune time to focus on career growth and planning, as it marks the midpoint of the year and can be a good time to reassess career goals, make adjustments, and set new targets for the remainder of the year.

Just as people engage in Spring cleaning for their homes, April & May can be a good time to engage in "spring cleaning" for the mind, reevaluating priorities, letting go of what no longer serves you, and creating a clearer path forward with the help of a life coach.

For those who experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) during the winter months, April & May and the arrival of Springtime can bring relief and renewed energy, making it a good time to seek support and start working on personal growth and well-being.

For students or parents of students, this time of year can mark the end of the school year or graduation season. This can be a transitional period where a life coach like myself can provide guidance and support in planning for the next phase of life, whether it's entering the workforce, starting college, or pursuing other opportunities.

I help my clients on an emotional and practical level. My unique approach offers my clients the ability to sort things from a variety of perspectives, with flexibility and openness in a safe, non-judgmental approach. I work solely from a place of genuine and meaningful connection. Many things bring on the desire for someone to seek out a Life Coach:

  • separation
  • financial worries
  • health issues
  • redundancy
  • bereavement
  • emotional abuse
  • betrayal
  • the need to create balance
  • self-care
  • building routines

to name a few.

I use my skills as a Life Coach and NLP Practitioner as a way of empowering my clients to take control back into their lives. Life Coaching is a great investment to help you navigate your way away from crisis, set protective boundaries around the things and people who have contributed to your crisis whilst also enabling you to set some gentle and achievable goals for yourself. I place a lot of emphasis on how to turn negatives into positives, thus leading to a more positive, happier, and brighter future.

I am professionally qualified and qualified through my own life experiences. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in your way. Get in touch today to see how I can support you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am now in my fifty second year and believe myself to be qualified by life, family, relationships, my many homes and all my experiences.

However, if you like to know about pieces of paper, I am a fully qualified Life coach, holding a LCH Diploma Level 7 from Achievement Specialists (UK). I am also a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) which I obtained from NLP Northern Ireland ABNLP. Back in my now distant past I graduated with a BA Hons in Textile Management from Leeds University.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

Additional information

I know the past couple of years have been very difficult on us mentally, but also financially. The continued uncertainty we are facing means we want to be more cautious with how we spend our money. Because of this, I am now offering you Pay As You Go Coaching Sessions. Just because you are being more careful with your money, doesn’t mean you should have to miss out on pursuing your goals and reaching your full potential.

Whether you choose to go with the Personal Development Programme or the Well-Being Programme, I recommend 6 sessions. At the end of your 6 sessions, you should feel empowered and equipped to confidently face the challenges that are in your way. Some clients choose to do these sessions weekly whilst others choose bi-weekly. Your coaching should of course fit easily into your life and around your other commitments, so we can work out a schedule that best suits you.

Now that I am offering Pay As You Go, you can choose to spread these sessions out even more, or you can do a Taster Coaching Programme of 3 sessions and return at a later date. I wanted to give you that flexibility, and to make the Programme more accessible.

This is also a great option for past clients who would like to return for a simple Top Up Session.

Further information

I can support you through all manner of Life, Relationship, Lifestyle & Home Challenges. Since 2010, I’ve helped myself and clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding many of us back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled.  As individuals and as a collective many negative thoughts and emotions can be triggered by our self talk and by following news feeds. Now more than ever is the time to be kind to self and others.

I help my clients on an emotional and practical level. My unique approach offers my clients the ability to sort things from a variety of perspectives, with flexibility and openness in a safe, non-judgmental approach. This is why you will not find me on the social media platforms. I work solely from a place of genuine and meaningful connection.
