About me
I'm a neurodivergent coach dedicated to helping ADHD individuals achieve their goals while improving their well-being. I use a blend of strengths-based coaching, psychosocial education, and state management to help ADHD adults thrive.
Are you a late-diagnosed adult with ADHD?
If life feels like an uphill struggle, you are not alone.
There are many midlife adults with ADHD who appear to have it all together. It’s part of the reason we’ve lived so long without getting diagnosed.
But behind the scenes, life feels chaotic or we’re on the verge of burnout.
You might be:
- fighting procrastination and overwhelm, no matter what you try
- overcommitting and under-delivering
- burnt out trying to meet expectations
- on a performance review at work, or…
- gonna quit before they see how much you’re struggling
- doubting your diagnosis, while feeling like your symptoms are getting worse
I understand what’s confronting you.
You’ve tried a million different systems to help you prioritise and focus better. But they never seem to stick.
With the added responsibilities and challenges that come with middle age, life is feeling harder than ever.
You thought understanding about ADHD would make things easier. But turns out there’s no one-size-fits-all manual for operating your unique ADHD brain.
Despite everything you’ve learned, you’re still failing to thrive.
You need to find a way to work with your brain and within your limits.
You’re curious about ADHD coaching – but worry it’s gonna be someone telling you to do things you know won’t work.
You want a science-backed approach that's tailored to you.
We'll re-examine your life through an ADHD lens. This starts with acknowledging that you’re navigating a world that was not designed for neurodivergent brains. We'll reflect on the stories you and others told about your life before you knew about your difference. We'll reframe your challenges using psychological concepts and scientific models. Then we'll craft a powerful new narrative together.
Over a programme of weekly coaching sessions, you’ll learn how to make the most of your interest-led brain and how to better regulate your emotions. You will develop a habit of noticing and celebrating your strengths, so you can be intentional about how and when you want to use them. All this will give you the confidence to advocate for your needs and help you cultivate a more positive inner voice and outlook.
Together, we create tangible, sustainable change.
As part of a systemic approach, we consider how your executive function, emotional regulation, and intersectionality come into play. We explore how your behaviour changes across your family, social, and work environments. Then we look at how all these parts – these systems – work together.
We’ll start to see patterns—for example, how certain emotional states affect your focus. We’ll notice interdependencies—like how high demand helps you activate, but only when you’re well rested.
We’ll discover which blend of inputs, relationships and interactions result in the behaviours and outcomes you desire. This intelligence will give you a choice of levers for you to pull to affect the change you need.
While working with me, you'll:
- Feel validated and understood
- Have your experiences normalised
- Learn how to regulate your emotions and manage transitions
- Recognise what strengths you're already using to support your needs
- Get clear on what goals and environments you need to flourish
- Receive support in grieving for what could have been
Training, qualifications & experience
- Certified Executive Coach - EMCC accredited certification
- ADHD Coach training with ICF-accredited Gold Mind Academy (in-progress)
As well as being an experienced coach, I spent two decades working in design & tech helping creatives and leaders improve their working lives. I received a late-diagnosis of ADHD in my forties.
By combining professional training with lived experience I am able to offer practical, empathetic support.
I understand what it feels like to constantly fall short of what you know you’re capable of. I know what it takes to keep your cool while managing the daily frustrations of your disability. I have felt the disappointment of following my passion only to bump up against the same old problems with attention and action.
But, with the right support, I know everyone can find their own solutions to their unique problems. This belief comes from my experience as both a coach and a coaching client. It forms the basis of my non-directive coaching approach: I don’t know better than you. But I do have an insatiable curiosity about the human condition. And the conviction that each of us is best suited to lead our own way towards more confidence and ease.

Additional information
During your free discovery session, you tell me what you’re confronting right now and I’ll demonstrate how I work. If we both agree that we're a good fit, we'll discuss the cost of your investment and the commitment you’d like to make.
My rates range from £100-£150 per session depending on how you’d like to book and pay. You can see a full breakdown of my pricing on my website.
Book a call today
On my website you can book your 40 min discovery call with me.
In advance of our call, I'll invite you to complete my pre-discovery questionnaire. By sharing some basic facts about what's bringing you to coaching before we meet, we'll have more time to talk on the call.
I expect you'll have a few discovery calls with different coaches lined up. If you decide I'm the one for you, I'll do a little happy dance. Then I'll send you my contract and booking details. We can usually get started in a week or two.

Testimonials
"I found career coaching with Emily to be hugely motivating. It has helped me manage myself better day to day and taught me techniques to become a more effective team leader. I now have a clearer sense of focus on how I develop my career further."
Assistant News Editor
"Emily is a great listener, gently steering our conversations to a place where the learnings from my experiences seem to jump out at me. Emily helped me to build my self confidence, reduce my self doubt and provided a great sounding board around difficult topics. She takes a pragmatic approach to career progression and has set out a good format to prepare me for the next steps in my career."
Design Manager
“A few months after my coaching experience with Emily, I found myself accepting a new job in Copenhagen. I was so excited to be taking this opportunity.
When I started looking for a coach, I was feeling a bit lost. I needed to make some sort of change, but I wasn't exactly sure what. I was lucky that I already knew Emily as we'd been colleagues at the BBC. I knew she wasn’t going to pass judgement, so I’d be comfortable talking about the sorts of things I was struggling with.
Over ten coaching sessions, Emily helped me reflect and understand myself better. I feel a lot more confident in my decisions now - it’s like there are less blockers in the way. I've always said I wanted to live abroad again, but it felt unattainable before. Emily’s coaching helped me get back on track, and I’m so grateful for that.”
