About me
I’m an International Coaching Federation credentialled leadership / personal development coach. I work with people who are in the first 1-5 years of their leadership journey or those who want to work towards a new role and move into management.
I help with a range of issues; from confidence to team management, communication skills to dealing with change, dealing with tricky situations to identifying the skills you want for the future.
From personal experience I know it can be tough to move into a leadership role. You were good at your job and were promoted, or decided to stretch yourself by applying for a role with management responsibilities. Congratulations on the new role. Now you're finding your feet as a middle manager, that incredibly important group who keep things going in so many organisations.
There’s pressure to hit the ground running, and you have to balance strategic thinking with people management, time management and a whole host of other skills.
Coaching has been crucial to me as a leader. That's why I’m passionate about helping those at the start of their leadership experience, and those keen to work on skills and personal development in order to move into leadership.
I’ve been there. I understand the opportunities and the satisfaction leadership can bring, as well as the challenges. I want you to enjoy your role (yes, it's definitely possible to do that) and to feel confident in dealing with whatever gets thrown at you.
Seeking coaching is a sign of a good leader, of someone with the self awareness, determination and resilience to succeed.
The 6 session block I offer includes a DISC assessment. Together we create a bespoke coaching programme for your needs, using the assessment as a starting point for setting your goals and topics for our sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have an Associate Coach Diploma from Optimus Coach Academy. Their training focuses on positive psychology and neuroscientific approaches to coaching. I also use Transactional Analysis - it's originally a form of psychotherapy but has been adapted for coaching.
In February 2026 I gained my Associate Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation. This is a guarantee that the training I've had reaches a certain standard (including being assessed whilst coaching), that I've completed a minimum number of coaching hours after my training and that I've passed the ICF's exam. As an ICF ACC I also commit to continued professional development as a coach.
Alongside the coaching, I have a day job as Scheduling Manager for Welsh Language audio in the BBC. I have over 20 years of experience in the fast-paced broadcast industry, including managerial. As well as looking after the day-to-day logistics of 2 radio stations I'm responsible for overseeing our Welsh language podcast content. I’ve also trained as a mentor, facilitator and in change management.
I coach new leaders because I know what it's like to move into such a role. Working on your skills and self awareness is fundamental to making that transition a positive experience.

Further information
The initial step is to contact me for a free chat about what you'd like to get out of coaching & to see if I'm the right coach for you. I may not be, and that's ok, but there's only one way to find out.
Here are testimonials from some of my clients:
- "The change has been incredible. I’ve moved from a negative fixed mindset to a positive mindset and an increased belief in my ability to overcome challenges. I was able to view my problems in new ways that made me better understand them to help me overcome and move forward."
- "Cerian had a great coaching approach that first focused on creating a safe environment where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings. From there she asked careful questions to make me think more deeply and in new ways."
- "The coaching helped me to hear myself. By articulating my feelings out loud I was able to understand what was going on far more than if I tried to think it through alone. Cerian never gave me solutions. She simply behaved like a mirror so I could see myself and the areas where I was struggling. I came to a clearer understanding of what I actually needed to do next."
- "I gained more clarity and the cobweb of thoughts and emotions untangled. It made me feel lighter … Cerian demonstrated a generous, safe and trusting presence."
