About me

Choosing to work with a coach often begins with a feeling that something needs to change. You may be considering a career move, facing an important decision, struggling with confidence or simply wondering whether the life you’re living still reflects the person you want to be.

I create the conditions in which you can think more clearly, understand yourself more fully and explore new possibilities. Together, we’ll work towards helping you become the author of your own life.

Over the past thirty years I have worked in theatre and higher education. I now work in coaching and personal development. Although these fields appear quite different, I have found myself returning to the same questions. What helps people see new possibilities for themselves? What gives them the confidence to make different choices? What enables lasting change?

My coaching is collaborative, reflective and practical. I draw primarily on solution focused coaching, while also bringing experience from theatre, education and creative practice. I have found that people often discover as much through experience as they do through conversation. That belief also informs my workshops, which combine coaching with storytelling, creative writing, discussion and performance-based activities to encourage fresh perspectives and deeper reflection.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including educators, creatives, professionals and anyone who has reached a point where they want to think differently about work, life or what comes next. Some clients are looking for support through a particular transition. Others simply want time and space to think without judgement or interruption.

Alongside one to one coaching, I also offer group coaching and transformative workshops. Whether we work together individually or as part of a group, my aim is the same: to help you understand yourself more deeply, explore new possibilities and make choices that feel right for you.

If that sounds like the kind of conversation you’re looking for, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

Openmind™ Personality Blueprint

As a Certified Openmind Practitioner, I offer the Openmind™ Personality Blueprint as part of the coaching process. It can be completed before we begin coaching or introduced at any stage if it feels likely to support your development.

Unlike most personality assessments, which rely on how we consciously describe ourselves, the Openmind™ Personality Blueprint also explores subconscious patterns of thinking. Using Neurotech®, it captures responses before our conscious mind has the opportunity to filter or edit them, helping to reveal where our conscious and subconscious responses differ.

The assessment is completed online using a computer, tablet or smartphone and usually takes around 20 minutes.

In coaching, the report often provides a valuable starting point for conversations about confidence, relationships, communication, leadership, career development and personal change. It can highlight strengths that have been overlooked, patterns that may be influencing your choices and aspects of yourself that are worth exploring in greater depth.

We then consider the report together in the context of your own experiences. We explore the insights that resonate, those that surprise you and the questions they raise. Rather than treating the report as a set of answers, we use it to stimulate thoughtful conversation and support a deeper understanding of what may be shaping the way you think, feel and behave.

Many clients tell me that the Personality Blueprint helps them see themselves from a different perspective. Used alongside coaching, it can deepen self-understanding, strengthen self-belief and help identify new possibilities for the future.
