About me

ADHD coaching centred on lifestyle, wellbeing and mindset.

My coaching sits between the models of coaching and mentoring, building on mental, emotional and physical wellbeing for a healthier, happier life.

What is ADHD coaching?

The coaching experience is like a journey of self-discovery that helps you learn more about your ADHD brain and become more effective at home, at work and at play.

You'll develop new habits (yes!) using your strengths so that you can succeed. We look at lifestyle and the choices you're making, understand more about what motivates you and more about what gets in your way.

You'll find goals that are right for you and make step-by-step changes so you feel a greater sense of control over your life.

With ADHD coaching, you'll not only gain practical skills and strategies but also cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself, leading to enhanced self-awareness and resilience in navigating life's challenges.

ADHD coaching helps to overcome

  • Constant overwhelm
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Attention & distractibility
  • Time management
  • Prioritisation and organisation
  • Mental restlessness
  • Feelings of underachievement
  • Motivational challenges to start and follow through

My approach

My coaching approach is fundamentally holistic, which means that it looks at all aspects of your life and wellbeing.

With my professional certification as a Personal Performance Coach, and specialist training as an ADHD Practitioner, I work on a one-to-one basis with clients who want to manage aspects of their ADHD and live a more balanced and satisfying life.

Using science-backed tools and techniques and my passion for positive psychology and other interventions, I am able to support others to achieve valuable personal growth.

Different from therapy, ADHD coaching focuses on the present and future with practical help and encouragement.

My mission is to break down the stigma surrounding ADHD and advocate for greater understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity in society, ensuring that individuals with ADHD are recognised for their unique strengths and talents.

About me: I'm a shy extrovert. A recovering perfectionist. A solutionist. A friend to my ex-husband. A light sleeper. A micro planner. A seafood lover. A world traveller who loves staying home. A mindful breather. A beach comber. A mother. A glass half-full person ... most of the time!

Paul T said, "You provided a better understanding of how and why my brain does things and how to take more control over them. This helped me to be mindful of situations and gain awareness of old habits. Right off the bat I found I could just talk to you like I’ve known you for years."

Reviews from past clients

"Debbie instilled confidence in me to move forward with goals that I thought would never be possible. By talking through my aspirations and hopes, I have achieved more in the weeks we spent talking than I have in the ten years that I have talked about doing them." Maggie

"I’m at a stage of life where I wanted to explore both my career goals and leisure time and find a direction for both. Debbie guided me through this. She helped me identify the positives and negatives with the current picture and helped me pinpoint the right path for the future for both aspects of my life. She also gave me the courage and reassurance to take actions along that path. In conclusion I wish I had tried a life coach earlier"  Melissa

"If you would like to talk to someone who can help you make priorities, see the wood for the trees and make giant steps in the space of a few weeks then I would compel you to call Debbie.”  Paul
