"That was an especially good and productive session" (Tima - London)
That was an especially good and productive session which will take me on my way to achieving happiness with my partner. I'll re-write a new list of affirmations and send you those for review at our next session.
"Many thanks for the excellent Gallup StrengthsFinder® coaching session" (Steve - Boxmoor)
Many thanks for the excellent Gallup StrengthsFinder® coaching session. Once again you have exceeded my expectations in facilitating growth!
"I can't express the gratitude I feel for your help in developing me as an individual" (Ben - Watford)
I can’t express the gratitude I feel for your help developing me as an individual. The progress I have made in my time with you, even as early as our first session, is remarkable and I can’t express the gratitude I feel for your help developing me as an individual and, in turn, as a member of my own life.
I do hope to remain in contact with you and wish all the best for you and your family. The help you have given me and the changes you have encouraged in me will remain with me, and will not be forgotten.
Many thanks for everything.
"Ralph coached me to find the answers within myself" (Alan - Bushey)
Asking for help can be difficult especially as a grown adult but talking to Ralph was a great help. Choosing your Life Coach is difficult, of course you don′t need a mental health practitioner, there is nothing wrong, but you know you need that bit of advice! I saw Ralph Williams′s details on the internet and felt that he was worth a telephone call. We spoke for about 30mins and he came across as a quiet but confident person who said he could help me and invited me to his home for a further chat, free of charge.
We met the following week and Ralph came across as a true gentleman and also a gentle man! I was impressed with his confidence and compassion and his empathy with the issues I wanted to talk about.
We agreed a contract of dates and costs but more important we made a contract about what each of us would do to help me. This helped me understand what Life Coaching is and not to be afraid of it, to understand that it was coaching much like sports coaching. Ralph would guide me and I had to take his advice. He did not solve any problems for me, he coached me to find the answers within myself. I applied the answers and I think I am much more successful both personally and professionally than before, and I have a clear idea how I will manage my future.
I found the meetings with Ralph an opportunity to talk about a range of personal feelings mixed with work and relationship issues, things I did not want to discuss with my wife. Ralph helped me to clarify my feelings and values so I understood why I felt as I did, and he set me homework to do - some of it with my wife as she is a major part of my life. Ralph and I reflected and discussed these, helping me to see the wood for the trees and see how to solve the problems for myself!
I would always recommend Ralph Williams as coach, confident and good professional friend. I looked forward to our meetings and feel a much more focused and confident person because of his influences on me.
Thank You Ralph.
"That session has been an amazing building block" (John - Boxmoor)
I have been building on the work we did together and that session has been an amazing building block. It gave me enough to raise my game sufficiently and it's fair to say thanks to you I've turned things around.
You never know what's around the next corner but now I look forward with enthusiasm! I have been awarded 110% plus bonus for the second half of the year and I have been nominated for a couple of recognition awards!
Would you let me take you to lunch one day next month? Call it a thank you and a catch up to agree a strategy for next year. Hopefully by then I will have even more exciting news to share!
"My business and personal life have had a rocket boost" (Philip - Leighton Buzzard)
Having coaching with Ralph was the best thing I ever decided to do. He enabled me to be clear about my values, who I was and what I wanted. I knew I wanted to succeed but I was not sure how or even where to start. Ralph worked with me to help me realise my core values and motivation and with some positive goal setting it became obvious to me what actions to take. Since I started having coaching with Ralph my business and personal life have had a rocket boost; it feels like I have discovered some real, untapped power inside of me that was bursting to be expressed. Having coaching helps you to realise the potential that lies dormant within all of us, so if you can conquer the initial fear of trying something new (which I believe is really the fear of what you can really be) you can fulfil your true desires. The level of achievement that I have reached as a result of Ralph's coaching has been more than I have achieved in the last 10 years all together! Life coaching really does work; I would happily recommend Ralph to anyone. Thank you Ralph - I look forward to our next session.
"I feel much more confident starting and maintaining conversations" (Mike - Eastcote)
I feel much more confident starting and maintaining conversations I am writing to thank you for your advice and coaching you recently gave me. Through discussion you have helped me to realise my strengths and weakness. My recent spell of jury service has allowed me to develop my social skills further with other people even to the extent that I was selected to be a jury foreman on one occasion. I now feel much more confident starting and maintaining conversations.
I also have a much clearer ambition for the short, medium and long term. Although the trip to Brazil has not progressed, I have plans to visit New York City in May 2014 which I will finalise by Christmas. I am also in training for some long distance cycle rides next spring/summer.I feel more relaxed in my working environment, I am very conscious to plan events efficiently but not get too upset when things don't always go to plan.I will recommend others to your style of life coaching as I have found it very beneficial.
"I was aware of a lack of direction in my life" (Ben - Bristol)
I decided to partake in a course of life coaching because I was aware of a lack of general direction somehow in my life. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, perhaps envisaging something roughly akin to a type of therapy, with perhaps some kind of prescription at the end of each session - like a list of things to do that will sort things out, as advised by the coach - perhaps in the way a sports coach decides on tactics, and directs the players.
The actual experience was very different, and much more introspective. I soon realised that the life coach's job was not to direct me, or to tell me what to do, but to help me work those things out for myself. As my life coach, Ralph helped me see what things are actually important to me in a way that I hadn't realised before. It was only then that I could begin to identify really what I felt I needed to address in my life.
It has surprised me how much has come out of me; Ralph has been there to help me discover and achieve, but rather than 'telling me what to do', I have told myself what to do, with his encouragement and support.
"I can achieve anything I set my mind to" (Wendy - High Wycombe)
I decided I would like to give life coaching a try as I wanted to learn to love myself as much as my family do. For a number of years, I feel I've been holding myself back and not enjoying life to the full, despite the obvious security of having a successful family life and career. My sessions with Ralph have helped me to see that I have been putting a lot of commitment and effort into putting myself down and developing a negative self image, when all I needed to do was expend the same amount of energy into feeling positive about myself.
The strategies that have helped me on my way to achieving my goal have been positive affirmations, modelling, goal setting and anchoring. The modelling technique came very easily to me. I now think about the type of person I would like to be in different situations and then pretend I am that person. In some situations this still feels like an act, but I've had 20 odd years being a person I don't want to be so this will take time and I am confident that I will get there. Setting personal goals for myself was something I'd never considered even though I accept their value in my job. Once I started I began to recognise that setting goals and rewarding myself for reaching them was a vital part of boosting my feeling of self-worth. Anchoring too has been very effective for me. I can squeeze my index finger and thumb together anytime, anywhere, and find myself engulfed with powerful thoughts of a time when I felt really great about myself.
After just 5 sessions, I feel like I'm well on the way to achieving my target of loving myself as much as my family do. A colleague at work remarked this week that I was looking and acting like "my old self" and seemed much happier. I think this is a testament to the work Ralph has done with me which has taught me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. Thank you, Ralph!
"The help he gave me was enormous" (Stephen - Watford)
It is with great pleasure I write this testimonial to Ralph, as I consider the coaching he gave me first class.
The enthusiasm, combined with the calm and knowledge Ralph has, enables him to guide you through the goals you first wanted but also helps you generate new goals. His methods of getting you to question the goal; Why, How, When and Why Not; are very effective at getting you to think through your expectancy.
When facing difficulties on any point Ralph would have a solution that would help change the approach and get you started. On a personal note I would recommend Ralph Williams Life Coach to anyone. The help he gave to me on the course was enormous, from the mundane goals I started with to future goals and beyond.
"All this has had very positive results" (Lauren - London)
When I signed up for life coaching I was hoping to improve my self confidence, to become an equal at work, learn to approach confrontation in a more positive way and more. Being an analytical person who questions most things, I was a little sceptical at first but Ralph talked me through the process and made me aware of the benefit to me if I were committed and leading the process myself with him on hand to guide me.
We tackled my lack of self confidence first with Ralph prompting me to examine when and why I felt the way I did, whether objectively my concerns were justified etc. Ralph also helped me realise that many of my issues were interrelated and offered strategies to help me retain control of a situation and my confidence both in my personal and work life, regardless of those around me. During our discussions Ralph challenged my perceptions, helping me to view the situation and my reactions differently. All this has had very positive results and by exploring my circumstances together I have been able to formulate a plan of action. When I look back at the period over which Ralph and I have been working together, I notice a marked change in my behaviour, reactions etc.
