Supervision details
Are you a coach who is deeply concerned about climate crisis, biodiversity loss and social justice? I work with coaches and psychotherapeutic coaches who:
🌳 want to make a real difference and are seeking ways to bring climate, ecological and social justice issues into their coaching work without "forcing an agenda" on their clients
🌳 are keen to find ways to overcome deeply ingrained systems and "business as usual cultures" that are holding us back as a society
🌳 want to make space for the clients' climate emotions about climate and biodiversity loss and grief without the coaching becoming solely about emotional development
🌳 recognise that as a profession coaching needs to go beyond working on individual behavioural change and instead to transform the systems that underpin our relationships with each other and the living world.
The changes we're witnessing and experiencing in our world can evoke all kinds of difficult and complex defences, responses and emotions*. So in supervision I can provide time and space for you to explore what your clients need from you and how you can meet those, including from the growing range of therapeutic, coaching, climate psychology & ecopsychology ideas, practices & tools.
My approach is underpinned by the Thinking Environment (I am global faculty at Time to Think) and also experienced and trained in Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed and Systemic approaches.
Sessions can be online by Zoom (or in person, depending on location - I live at the intersection of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire).
In June 2025 I am starting a new Supervision group - visit here to find out more. www.aspey.com/events/group-supervision-june2025
* Naturally, as we share the same planet as our clients, practitioners can experience the same range of responses; I can help you to contain & channel these, & where needed, help you to seek external support for yourself.
