About me

Coaching is a bit like having a personal trainer to work on developing your thoughts and behaviours. Your needs, your goals, your hopes and fears will be the focus of the discussions. Coaching will tap into your inner maybe hidden - resources and allow them to flow more freely to create a wider pool of possibilities. It gives you something of immediate value and use.

How will you benefit from coaching?

  • Gain greater clarity about what you want in your life or career
  • Develop greater insights into your own behaviours and motivation
  • Create more options for the future
  • Identify achievable goals and project plans
  • Establish a resourceful strategy for moving forward to where you want to be
  • Get to grips rapidly with what is expected of you in your current or future role
  • Feel more in control of your work and life
  • Banish thoughts of I could achieve more if only

I'll work with you to create a safe space in which you can step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reflect on what you really want. Then we will explore how you can get there and set some realistic and achievable goals and I will support you as you move towards these.

I work face to face or by telephone. I would normally recommend a series of around six coaching sessions, although sometimes one or two sessions are sufficient for someone to make good progress.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained for 60 days to achieve my qualification as a certified NLP coach. Since then I have coached for several hundred hours, with many different clients. I coach both in the UK and in SE Asia. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and have previously been a member of the International Coaching Federation (PCC level) and the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches.

Member organisations

Association for Coaching

The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.

The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Fees depend on the number of coaching sessions booked and the length of the sessions, which vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Your needs will be discussed at the outset and we will agree what would be most appropriate for you.

My aim is to make coaching affordable for everyone.
