Kate Harper - Harper Coaching
Kate is a Personal Development coach based in beautiful Central Scotland. Her clients have sought help on many issues, including confidence and self-esteem building, motivation - understanding their own, as well as other people's, career changes, preparing for interviews, improving health and wellbeing, dealing with procrastination, learning assertiveness and learning to say 'No', as well as making the most of their current lives and relationships.
Coaching sessions can be over the phone, or face to face in the local area. Kate has even held a coaching session up at Cairngorm Mountain, while the snow was falling outside! She moved to Dunblane, in Stirlingshire, in December 2011. Face to face sessions are available in and around the area surrounding this friendly Central Scottish town.
She is an experienced speaker who has done many talks for the Women at Work Project and, previously, for Weight Watchers as a Group Leader. Her particular passion is helping her clients to identify what motivates them, as well as all aspects of Wellbeing, whether physical, mental, or emotional.
Kate is married, with three children. She was born and brought up in Chililabombwe, Zambia, and attended boarding school in the south of England, going on to obtain an Honours degree in Modern European and American History at Southampton University.
After University, she joined IBM (UK) Ltd as an Information Specialist, working for that company for six years, before leaving to have her first child. At the time her husband was in the Royal Navy, so she and the family moved with the jobs, until settling in Kingussie in 2001 for ten and a half years. She has been in business as a coach since 2005, having trained with Achievement Specialists LLP and the well-known coach, Curly Martin.
Kate brings to her sessions curiosity, enthusiasm, honesty, and much life experience of her own, coupled with a desire to help her clients to the point where they no longer need her.
