I am a personal life-coach with training in NLP specialising in life transitions and personal development… including career, retirement and relationship coaching.
I focus on what is called life-transitions. We find ourselves ‘in transition’ when we become aware of any significant change in our lives or circumstances (welcome or unwelcome) and realise we now need to do something about it.
My coaching sessions are not just therapeutic conversations: they are conversations that will also inspire you to take specific actions to change or remedy your current situation. I will coach you through a successful transition from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.
My role as your personal life-coach
My role is to help you to articulate your dreams, formulate specific goals and plans related to that and to support you as you follow these through to the kinds of changes you want to make and to achieving the goals most important to you.
So the coaching agenda is entirely up to you and will depend on what is most important to you and the specific context within which you are seeking change.
For more information about my approach to that please have a look at my website.
Some key transition areas which provide opportunity for growth, change, and personal life transformation are:
- Work and career challenges.
- Project development
- Redundancy, early retirement and... retirement
- Challenges in personal relationships at home or at work
- Inner spiritual awakenings or a crisis in the meaning and purpose of life
- Challenges associated with recovery from drug or alcohol addiction

Areas of coaching I deal with
Other areas of coaching I deal with
1. 12 STEP SPECIFIC RECOVERY PROGRAMME COACHING.
I offer recovery coaching within the framework and ethos of the 12 Steps of AA/NA. I work the programme myself and have been doing so for over 30 years
2. CHRISTIAN COACHING FOR PRACTISING CHRISTIANS (HOWEVER DEFINED)
I believe that God is already active in your life (whether you are aware of that or not) and that you can take personal responsibility for your life and destiny and solve your own problems, with God's help much better than I can. What you may need most is for me to believe in you and to provide you with the support, encouragement and accountability you need as you begin to act on what you already know . I believe in the active presence and gifting of the Holy Spirit and in the importance of prayer.
Following a free introductory 'no strings attached' life coaching session my fees are £60 per coaching session for a block of 5 additional sessions.
I am happy to negotiate a reduced sessional rate for those who would like to continue the coaching relationship beyond the initial 6 sessions.
We will initially work together for a block of 6 sessions (the first of which is free), for which I will receive payment in advance before the second session. Thereafter we can negotiate further sessions, but normally these will be in blocks of 5 or 6 with payment in advance. You may cancel at any time -- but I ask that this be in writing [by e-mail or letter]. I will then reimburse the cost of any sessions not taken.
On a case by cause basis I can offer reduced fee Christian discipleship coaching to practicing Christians who are on benefits, experiencing financial hardship and can not afford my full fees.
I recognise that anything you share with me will be confidential whether it be of a personal, or a business nature, the only exception being if, in my opinion, the information clearly indicates that someone is at serious risk of harm.
Nature of Coaching:
Coaching is in no way to be construed as psychological counselling or therapy. Coaching results are not guaranteed. You should enter our coaching relationship in the full understanding that you alone are responsible for creating your own results.
