I help women to become healthier, happier and more fulfilled in life. Life has a funny way of kicking in sometimes, challenges come along, the kind of stuff that comes out of the blue, knocking us off balance, adding an extra layer to our daily routine and commitments.

My aim is to motivate and inspire you to get back on track and create a life you love.

Together we'll get to the root cause of what's holding you back and help you find new perspectives and new ways to move forward in life.

My story

If any of this resonates with you I know how you feel - I have experienced many curveballs since my 40's including divorce, caring for loved ones, a mighty tough menopause and bereavement. At 60 I decided to make a big change to my life to start helping women to move forward in their lives. I'm here to let you know that you have all you need to make changes too, big or small. Life really begins when you want it to. Positive change really can begin at any moment!

Gradually I found ways of coping; learning to slow down, accepting the things I couldn't change, trusting my intuition and letting emotions come.

How coaching can help

As an accredited Wellbeing Life Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer, along with my life experience I can help you regain the energy you need to get your life back on track. With tools and techniques to suit your needs that will improve your wellbeing and your sense of self you'll start to regain balance and harmony in life.

Through a process of discovery,  we'll explore mindset, beliefs and habits and create a vision for how you want your life to look and feel. Gradually you'll start to feel healthier, happier and more fulfilled.

My approach is quiet, empathetic and calm and I'll support and motivate you, whilst ensuring you are accountable for the goals you set yourself. In fact I'll be your cheerleader all the way!

Coaching Sessions

Sessions can be taken virtually by Zoom in the comfort of your own home and by telephone. Depending on location, face to face sessions at a suitable venue maybe arranged, or if you like to be out in nature with a view to start getting fitter through walk and talk.  Arrangements can be mutually agreed between us.

Individual sessions can be booked or longer packages of 6 weeks or more as needed, moving at your pace to allow you to get the most benefit of our time together.

Training, qualifications & experience

Professional Wellbeing Life Coach

My training as a Wellbeing Life Coach was guided by one of the top wellbeing coaches in the country, Dr. Claire Maguire, at Raw Horizon's Coaching Academy in Yorkshire.

Three years experience, accredited with, and a full member of the Association for Coaching. I invest in continued professional development training and courses.

Level 3 Personal Trainer


I have a 35 year career in public services developing sports development initiatives, as a Sports Leader and Sports Coach, events management, marketing, communications and collaborative working in the public, private, voluntary and community sectors.

Association for Coaching (AC)

The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.

The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Wellbeing & Life Coaching

I offer coaching to women who are feeling stuck, at a crossroads in their life or have reached a point where they feel they want to make changes and need support to move forward.  I can also include fitness and exercise support for those women who wish to improve their physical wellbeing.

Women can choose 1:1 coaching either face to face at a suitable location or walking by the sea or in the countryside (depending on location) or online in the comfort of their own home.

Coaching packages typically include 45 or 60 minute sessions alongside tools, techniques and exercises to support goal achievement and personal growth .

There is email support between sessions along with motivation, inspiration and accountability to help you keep your promise to yourself.  The coaching process also allows for regular opportunity for review and reflection as clients progress on their own personal journey.

My packages are typically 6 weeks and 3 months allowing clients to gain clarity around what they need in their life to change, to create a vision that excites them and pulls them forward, and to develop a plan with small steps that will help them get to where they want to be.  Each journey is unique and though it can be challenging at times is rewarding and empowering.

The coaching journey allows us to step back a little if things start to feel scary, to reflect, review and reset if necessary.

In short I'm my clients biggest cheerleader with a quiet and intuitive approach, moving alongside as I gently guide and support all the way.

Each of us has a time when we start to think 'now is my time' and I believe every woman has what it takes inside including the innate wisdom, life experience and life skills to create a life that sings for them.

We're all unique, sessions, programmes and packages are tailored to your needs for where you are in your life right now.

You can choose your sessions by phone, email, online video from the comfort of your own home, or face to face at a suitable location.

If you like the idea of getting outdoors, or want to start exercising but don't know where to start Walk and Talk Coaching could be a great option for you.
