The Professional Coach - Austin Thorneycroft PCC

About me

A few years ago I'd seen burn out as becoming more and more common in my friends and colleagues, I wanted to help but was woefully unaware of how I could do that. I became aware of the term 'coaching' as a way of dealing with this issue and decided that I would undergo the rigorous training program conducted by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and in 2016 I achieved the accreditation of a certified professional coach and Energy Leadership Master Practitioner. Next in my education came extensive Emotional Intelligence training and now I am certified to deliver EQi-2.0 and EQi360, which is the leading psychometric assessment in emotional intelligence.

Throughout all of this, I have really developed a passion for supporting people at all stages in their career to further their leadership potential by developing their Emotional intelligence. I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams and living a life that is beyond their expectations. We all face difficulties within life and we can often get blinded by the hurdles we face and are unable to find the correct path to follow.

I am able to coach you in a way that helps you to see life objectively, understanding that the journey can be as inspiring as the destination!

I offer a free no obligation 30-minute call with all new clients just so that we know that we are compatible to work together (chemistry call). A coaching relationship is a 2-way thing.

Additional information

I offer a free 30-minute consultation and offer a bespoke coaching package for each individual client.

It's important to have the consultation, this is not a gimmick, this is called a 'chemistry call' and it determines whether we can work together. I may not be the 'right' coach for you and you may need someone offering services that I am not qualified in, this call determines that compatibility.

Call me, message me, e-mail me, we can talk about it.

When I work

Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun

I am available from 8am-8pm by phone or email. If I can't answer there and then, leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Sharon Grey- December 2020 Sharon was a client of Austin’s

Austin has been coaching me for several weeks to help me overcome some personal issues. I have tried various approaches in the past but his coaching is by far the most helpful.  He has given me a safe space to open up and confront some really difficult emotions, and is coaching me to be able to recognise and let go of negative behaviours.  He is helping me to be a more positive, happy person. He gives me support, care, sensitivity and respect. As a result of his help I feel really positive about what I can achieve for the first time in my life. I am very grateful to have met him.

N Bird - January 21, 2019, Naomi was a client of Austin’s

I have enjoyed working with Austin over recent months where he has provided excellent coach mentoring support that has allowed me to view my behaviours through a different lens. He has challenged my thinking whilst also supporting me to develop practical solutions that make a real difference to the way I interpret and experience situations. Through his coaching methods, Austin has helped me to develop my confidence, gain clarity and set clear goals for the future. If you have the opportunity to work with Austin I would certainly recommend it.

S Rudkin - April 18, 2018, Susy was a client of Austin’s

Austin has a clear, honest and direct approach to coaching. This coupled with integrity, patience, and a calm and grounding presence makes him the ideal coach for any individual or business. Austin took the time to get to know me as an individual, he listened carefully, and he believed in me... even when I didn't believe in myself. At the same time, he encouraged me to think bigger, to push myself, to go beyond what I felt was comfortable and/or even possible. As a result, I launched a successful new business and began collaborating with others to develop a second, more ambitious one. Thank you, Austin. Who knew work and life could be such fun?
