About me

Getting you back on your feet again!

Has life given you a side swipe and knocked you off the course that you had envisaged for yourself? Illness, loss or any unexpected change of plan can mean that who you were, what you did and what you planned can all go out of the window. If this has happened to you and you are ready to get back on with life and forge a new path, then it's time to get in touch.

What made me want to coach
My name is Sue Michaels. In education for 20+ years, I wanted to spend more time working with people to help them to feel happy and good about themselves and when I stumbled upon coaching and found the amazing effect it could have on people’s lives, I wanted in! I have a rekindled passion for living the best life that I can and have found that I can help others to do that too. I now run a successful business based in Woburn helping as many people as I can - young and old -  manage to live the best version of their lives!

Before our 1:1 sessions
We will have a Discovery Call - a 15 minute phone call that helps us get to know each other a little and a chance for us both to ask any questions we might have about coaching and it's suitability for you. If you decide to go ahead at this point, you will receive a Welcome Pack which includes your contract and activities to get you going. We will also schedule in an Intake Session which explains exactly what to expect during our times times together, the process that you will go through and logistics such as preferred time, place, method of communication plus a chance to ask any further questions.

During our sessions
These will take place at an agreed time and location and last between 45 and 60 minutes. Most sessions take place via phone or Skype although face to face is also available. I would expect our sessions to be at the same time either weekly or fortnightly, depending on your goals. The level of between session tasks is established in the Intake Session. I use coaching and NLP techniques as appropriate, depending on your individual needs and requirements. It's up to you!

Get in touch if you are ready to invest in yourself and to spend your future living the life you want, with a happy smile on your face and a skip in your step.

Further information

I have been trying to give more time to myself and my husband but have always felt guilty about it.

With Sue’s help, the sessions made me realise that this goal was not selfish but a realistic target for me to achieve. Sue always helped me to set realistic goals and reminded me to keep my target in mind when I was doubting myself.

I cannot thank Sue enough – I feel as though an enormous weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

She has helped me in a number of different areas by asking questions to uncover my motivation and by enabling me to be precise about my goals and how to achieve them.

Sue is a highly intelligent, energetic and insightful coach. I have felt at ease talking to her and I know that she listens carefully. She is purposeful in challenging me when I have expressed fears or doubts and I feel stronger and more purposeful as a result of our coaching sessions.

I am very grateful to Sue for the time we have shared and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

I would recommend Sue, she is such a positive person and she is friendly but firm in her approach and her coaching techniques are a great way to start finding out about yourself and what you really want to achieve and how you can go about getting it. With her support and guidance I feel more confident in my ability to get the job I want and I can also apply her coaching steps to most other things in my life and take it one step at a time. Sue also has a Facebook group which encourages positive thinking and reminders that you can do it, you just need to be brave enough to want to!
