About me

I qualified as a Personal Performance Coach (Life) and decided to specialise in Parent coaching because I believe that parents are the most important and the most influential people in a child's life and I work to encourage parents to be confident and positive parents and to be the parents they want to be.

I also offer Stress/Anxiety management coaching. I feel we live in a society of increasing pressure. Stress and anxiety has become a huge issue for many people, young people in particular. Anxiety, if it becomes chronic, can have a profound effect on our physical and mental health. Coaching can help you identify ways of reducing and managing your anxiety and stress levels to promote physical and emotional well being.

Coaching is about identifying goals, taking action, achieving and solving problems. Coaches believe you, the client, has the answers you need and the skill of the Coach is to bring out those answers for you. Coaching is confidential and non judgemental.

Coaching is not therapy, counselling or mentoring and coaches do not give advice.

If you are motivated for change and want to live the life you choose, please contact me.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a mental health nurse in 2000 having studied at Kingston University and St Georges Medical School and began working for the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I have worked for the NHS for 17 years in a variety of roles and I am currently in a training role. I have worked with children, young people and their familes in a variety of roles and settings from being ward based, to a sleep and behaviour service, to an outpatient clinic service and psychiatric liason service. I spent many years working in Schools providing work with children individually and in groups, working with parents providing individual support and workshops as well as training and support to School staff on supporting children with emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties.

I developed an interest in Coaching and a passion for parenting and I qualified as a Personal Performance Coach in 2017 and I am currently developing my private practice.

My qualifications are Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), BSc(Hons) Nursing, PG Dip. in Emotional wellbeing of Children and Families, Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching.

If a life coach's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the life coach to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
