We can all be pretty good at getting in our own way – kicking ourselves for not achieving what we’re capable of, or beating ourselves up for not being good enough. Many of us have felt at one time or another that because of how we feel, we somehow can’t think straight. Or maybe we’ve felt stuck in unhelpful, even damaging patterns of behaviour, doing the same old thing time and time again and not getting the results we want.

I will teach you to choose how you feel. Imagine if you were able to decide how to be in, say, an interview or on a date, or with someone you find difficult; able to take control of how you experience those situations and get what you want from them. It’s actually easy when you know how.
I coach using NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming – which is hugely effective for making lasting rapid change in your life. It’s like the instruction manual your brain didn’t come with – you’ve been using the default settings, but with a bit of reprogramming you can stop doing things automatically, things you don’t necessarily want to do, and take charge of your own life.
I will teach you simple, practical and powerful techniques that allow you to CHOOSE how you think, feel and respond in any given situation. Working together we’ll enable you to realise your fullest potential, to be successful on your own terms and really enjoy your life. There’s nothing more liberating than realising you can choose for yourself how you respond to the world – no more good days, bad days, that’s just the way it is. You’ll learn to choose your own thoughts, feelings and moods.
Our sessions will be solution focussed. Unlike some other forms of therapy, this is not about going back over and over your past problems to work out how you got here. This is about looking forward and making the changes you want and need. You won’t be a passive player in the sessions - instead you’ll be taught to be empowered and think for yourself, and we’ll make you the most powerful influence in your own life. We’ll design a future for you which is not determined or limited by your past, or by anyone else’s idea of how you ‘ought’ to be.
I can help you to achieve your personal goals, sort out feeling stuck and passive in your life, resolve family and relationship issues and sort out limiting beliefs that have been holding you back. You can radically improve your physical and mental health, resolve phobias, anxiety, nerves, low self esteem, depression, fear, self doubt - these obstacles to your happiness are actually self imposed, and I will show you how to stop imposing them! We’ll get rid of negative self talk, give you more confidence and clarity about what it is you actually want to be achieving in your life, and help you to discover your fullest potential and bring out the best in yourself.
The tools I’ll equip you with are easy to understand and put into practice, and the process is genuinely fun! Change is usually very rapid indeed and in my experience clients will usually only need between one and six sessions to get to where they want to be.
Training, qualifications & experience
I started my career as an actor, having trained at the world renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), and I worked prolifically and successfully in theatre throughout the UK and in Europe for over a decade. Working in such a highly competitive industry which demands huge amounts of confidence, self motivation, thick skin and focus, I struggled with nerves and anxiety which could be crippling at times, and often felt I had little control over my own career and how I felt about myself.
After discovering Phil Parker and his work within Coaching and NLP, I realised that I was able to exercise far greater influence over my life and career and actually be happy while doing it! Since then I’ve flourished not just as an actor but also as a writer - something I’d previously been told I wouldn’t be capable of. I now successfully write, produce and perform all my own work including, most recently, a rapturously received one woman show in the West End, something I’d never dreamed I’d be able to achieve. Beyond my career, I’m transformed as a person - my relationships are now genuinely authentic, happy and healthy and I’m far more content, confident and self sufficient in every aspect of my life. I’ve realised that I can have my own version of success in all areas of my life, on my own terms.
The difference that Coaching and NLP have made to my own life inspired me to train as a Coach and help others to transform their lives just as I have my own. I studied under Phil Parker at The Phil Parker Training Institute where I obtained a Clinical Diploma in NLP and Life Coaching and since setting up my practice I’ve helped many people experience profound change in their lives. I’ve been coaching for over a decade, in particular within the creative industries - actors, writers, people applying for top drama schools and universities, and I’ve had incredible results in completely shifting all kinds of problems that have been keeping people stuck for years, enabling my clients to reach their full potential.
I’ve helped people with confidence, self esteem, independence, successful speech, communication and public speaking, successful interviewing and dating, being more imaginative, creative, focussed and successful at work, gaining health and vitality, sleeping deeply, relationships, gaining relaxation and calmness, getting more humour and fun, life long phobias such as flying, heights etc (usually completely cured in half an hour), anxiety, stage fright, limiting beliefs, depression, resolving allergies and food intolerances, weight loss, stopping smoking, inspiration and motivation, conflict resolution... the list goes on.
