About me

I am the owner and director of LBF Coaching & Consulting, founded in 2017. In addition to providing strategic HR advisory services, our main mission is to partner with individuals and organisations to maximise performance and realise potential through increased self-awareness and a smarter deployment of existing talents and resources.

I am particularly passionate about identifying and harnessing the unique existing innate strengths of my clients, as a means of finding and empowering their authentic individual voice. There is nothing more powerful than authentically realised potential. At LBF we say that "life begins at forte", and through my work I help my clients launch themselves into the world with confidence and purpose.

I provide services in:

  • Executive and leadership coaching
  • Strengths-based coaching
  • Career transition coaching
  • Life coaching
  • Facilitation
  • Training design and delivery
  • HR and change strategy
  • Organisational development, including employee engagement.

Clients regularly comment on my warmth, accessibility and responsiveness, as well as the quality of my insights, communication style, written materials and results-focused approach.

I work across the UK and internationally, and offer coaching services via Skype, FaceTime or any other convenient video call platform.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have almost 20 years’ experience in both academic and corporate roles centred around strategic advisory relationships and the development of others, having first worked as a university tutor and lecturer, then as an employment lawyer, global HR Director and executive coach.

I have over 1,000 hours of coaching experience, and am formally trained in executive coaching and strengths-based coaching. I am a licensed practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Motivational Maps (an engagement and motivation tool), as well as a certified Strengths Coach.

Other professional and educational qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in French and French Linguistics
  • Bachelor of Laws
  • Graduate Diploma in Communications
  • Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC)

I am bilingual in English and French, and also speak Spanish fluently. I offer my services in all three languages.

Association for Coaching

The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.

The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Fees

My fee structure is dependent on the length of the coaching engagement and the circumstances of the client.

I offer separate rates for corporate clients, individuals and not-for-profit businesses.  In each case I offer a free coaching session for every 10 sessions booked.

I also provide a discounted rate for individuals seeking a return to work following maternity or other extended absence (e.g. injury layoff, prolonged unemployment).
