About me

I've been a coach since my teens, I just didn't know it was an actual job until about 10 years ago!

Having been lucky enough to be given some life-changing coaching when I was promoted into a Head of Communications role, I understood that I wanted to be able to provide similar value to others.  Fast forward a few years and I qualified as a Senior Practitioner, accredited with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

In practice, my qualifications and accreditation simply means that I have spent many hours developing, honing and reflecting on my coaching style, learning lots about myself and others along the way. It can give you confidence that I know my stuff!

I have coached a wide range of people, from company directors, to new mums returning to the workplace, to young people just starting out on their career. One thing is clear to me, we're all human and have similar needs. Very often, this can be as simple as the time and space to speak and be truly heard by someone who knows from experience that you already have your own answers.

Want to know more about what it's like to work with me?
Please give me a call or drop me an email so that we can arrange an initial meeting. This first meeting, sometimes known as a 'chemistry session', is free of charge and designed to help us both understand if we are a good fit.

At this meeting we'll discuss how we would work together and do an initial exploration into the things you might want to achieve.

Usually I work with people in sets of six sessions, over six to eight months.

Advanced Diploma in Professional Coach Mentoring.

My fees are £100 per hour.

Further information

Anna, a leader in an engineering consultancy, was looking to make some changes to her working life...

"Saranne is a wonderful coach - she listens attentively and does not judge. Instead her approach is to gently suggest alternative interpretations and encourage people to re-examine how their actions and behaviours may be perceived by others.

"This helps people to explore changes they could make to achieve personal goals, with her support. Consequently, Saranne is a great person to have around when looking to develop stronger and more resilient individuals and building effective and motivated teams."

Amanda, a communications professional, had some big life decisions to make...

“This has been a brilliant experience, I have been recommending to others. It has helped me greatly.

"Saranne has been continuously positive, supportive and nurturing. She has a gift to be able to connect and encourage me to seek out my own personal plan that is right for now, but can be reviewed and edited!”

Justin, a senior manager within a third sector organisation, had been considering his career next steps for some time...

“Saranne has been nothing but understanding and encouraging, enabling me to take time to find my own way!

"I know she has what it takes to be a great practitioner as I’ve worked with a number of therapeutic, life coaching and mentoring experts and Saranne is certainly up there with the best of them!! Thank you!”

John, a Business Development Manager, wanted to make a long-term career plan during a period of instability within the workplace...

“I've found my time with Saranne extremely valuable.

In particular, her ability to be flexible and to have the conversations with me that needed to be had at that time - whilst we've made plans for future discussions, if there's been something on my mind that we needed to discuss she has noticed and adapted, and that's helped our relationship, and my trust in her, grow.”
