About me

Do you want to work with someone calm, wise and creative?

That’s what clients say about me.

Do you want to get a new view on where you are now in life, think differently and move forward?

That’s what I help clients do.

Do you want to make a difficult decision, find solutions to problems or start down a different road?

That’s where I help people gain clarity, confidence and new skills.

With a rich experience of life, a professional career and a large extended family spread around the world, not much surprises me.

Coaching is a practical way of helping people gain insights and clarity, shift their thinking, grow their confidence, manage their emotions, take action and achieve their goals. The way I work is matched to who you are and what you want to achieve.

I do coaching face to face in Bristol and by telephone, skype or video-conference all over the UK and internationally.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

For business coaching, my own experience of leading successful teams in highly accountable roles helps. I understand what it’s like being a business owner and managing a team on your own. I’ve been Chair of the Board at St George’s Bristol, Director of Bristol Education Action Zone and have run my own business for over 10 years. I know from experience how much it can help to have a coach to think things through with.

I’ve been a coach supervisor since 2009 and also mentor other coaches for ICF Accreditation. I have supervision myself to keep my game up to the mark.

Other Information

I am currently a Director of the UK Board of the International Coach Federation.

My third book is coming out in September 2015. Co-authored with Jenny Bird, MCC, it is all about coaching! The Art of Coaching: A Handbook of Tips and Tools (Routledge).

Here are a few testimonials:

“I’ve left each of your coaching sessions with clear and practical ideas that I can put confidently into action that same day” Leo Pitt

“After two sessions of coaching, I knew I had made the right decision… I coped assertively and effectively with difficult colleagues and learned strategies to cope in the future” Maryanne Martin.

I have gained confidence in handling both challenging business issues as well as my personal life.” Alastair Slade

“Our sessions together have been one of the most influential pints of my career so far” Robin Mason

“My confidence in myself and my ability to stand on my own two feet has grown with each coaching session” Victoria Bicknell
