Personal development coaching
My coaching programmes provide the support you need in developing the skills and self-awareness to manage your life effectively. Together, we will assess your current situation, make a plan and work through any barriers to achievement. Areas that may benefit from personal development coaching include assertiveness, self-esteem, confidence and motivation. Whatever challenges you face, coaching is a useful tool for clarifying your options and attaining your goals.
We spend a great deal of time at work, so it is important to make career choices that are right for us as individuals. It may be that you want to develop your career, or take a new path altogether. You may want to negotiate a pay rise; work on procrastination; change and associated challenge; conflict resolution or time management. Whatever the issue, career coaching can be a useful tool to identify problems and come up with solutions.
Many people feel that their health would benefit from changes to their lifestyle, perhaps by taking more exercise, eating more healthily or getting more sleep. Health coaching can support you in deciding what your priorities are, open your mind to new ways of thinking and keep you focussed on your goals. It is useful for creating and developing strategies for achieving and maintaining health-related goals; managing your time better and making space for a healthier routine; making decisions regarding health issues and dealing with changes relating to your wellbeing, including health anxiety.
Working together, we will create an action plan for life with ADHD. Having explored your current situation, we will develop structures, skills, strategies and a support framework. Coaching will help you to stay focused on your goals, overcome obstacles, address issues like time management, organisation and self-esteem.
Having reached a crossroads in my career and personal life, I made the decision to train as a life coach in 2002. My unique set of skills and life experience are particularly relevant to my work in the areas of personal development, careers, health and ADHD. An experienced, qualified coach and master practitioner of NLP, I have also worked as a volunteer for a cancer charity, offering coaching to people with cancer, their carers and loved ones.

“I wanted the confidence to drive on motorways - something I was afraid of doing. I was comfortable driving on ordinary roads but had a fear of motorways. During our sessions you certainly gave me confidence by giving me small goals to aim for e.g. by first driving on the motorway with someone in the passenger seat and doing just a short journey. When I was confident doing that I managed to drive by myself for about 9 miles on the motorway.
