About me

When working together, we create an environment where we can explore your experiences and gain clarity on what you want to achieve.

I help people understand where they are today, what they want, what holds them back and why.  Together we work through the obstacles and build an effective action plan that not only helps you manage change positively but also achieve your goals.

I am inquisitive and curious about people. I establish trust, rapport and confidence with my clients from the outset creating and by listening intently and gently challenging a clients beliefs and assumptions, I help raise self awareness which allows clients gain different perspectives and open up new possibilities. I like to take my coaching outdoors sometimes as my clients have had significant breakthroughs when the confines of a room are removed.

I worked in the film and TV industry for 25 years and became one of a few women in this country to hold a senior position running a broadcast transmission centre, managing large, diverse teams and multi-million pound budgets. I am currently interim Head of Production for a textile business building strong operational foundations to support its growth. During my career, I have had three children and I am a firm believer that if you want to, it is possible to grow a fulfilling career whilst caring for a family.

What to do next:

Please call/text me on 07815 869201 or email me at so we can arrange a time for our first meeting. This is a chemistry test where we either have a chat on the phone or meet up where I give you an overview of the process, gain an understanding of the outcomes you hope to get from coaching and importantly we have an opportunity to decide if we think we could work together successfully. This meeting tends to last between 30 and 45 minutes and is free. No decisions have to be made that on day of course and if they are, we agree the first session date.

Further information

Sam coached me through an exciting period in my career as I stepped up the management ladder. I felt completely at ease in conversation with her, and we covered so much ground over the course of our sessions including exploring my background, personal situation and career goals and aspirations. She enabled me to think in ways that have provided clarity and decisiveness in my leadership, and has shown me techniques that have since become second nature in dealing with people, playing to my own and other people's strengths and being mindful of weaknesses. I am a much more confident and measured leader, employee and colleague thanks to my sessions with Sam.

Senior Technologist, TV Broadcasting sector

During my five sessions with Sam she introduced a number of tools to help me work through what is important to me, where I want to get to and why. Sam set very clear expectations of the process, prompted me with appropriate questions and challenges and led me to commit to specific goals with success measures. She was really positive around the coaching, a great listener and helped me on the right path to draw my own conclusions and actions.

Senior Finance Professional, Banking sector

The coaching process has clarified and highlighted goals both old and new at work. My goal to increase my confidence was key and Sam helped encourage a solid approach achieving future career development. Personally, the coaching sessions have really helped as well as professionally. Providing much needed new perspective and focus has been a fundamental achievement during these sessions and Sam has very much guided me in this.
