I am inquisitive and curious about people. I establish trust, rapport and confidence with my clients from the outset creating and by listening intently and gently challenging a clients beliefs and assumptions, I help raise self awareness which allows clients gain different perspectives and open up new possibilities. I like to take my coaching outdoors sometimes as my clients have had significant breakthroughs when the confines of a room are removed.
I worked in the film and TV industry for 25 years and became one of a few women in this country to hold a senior position running a broadcast transmission centre, managing large, diverse teams and multi-million pound budgets. I am currently interim Head of Production for a textile business building strong operational foundations to support its growth. During my career, I have had three children and I am a firm believer that if you want to, it is possible to grow a fulfilling career whilst caring for a family.

This is a chemistry test where we either have a chat on the phone or meet up where I give you an overview of the process, gain an understanding of the outcomes you hope to get from coaching and importantly we have an opportunity to decide if we think we could work together successfully. This meeting tends to last between 30 and 45 minutes and is free. No decisions have to be made that on day of course and if they are, we agree the first session date.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have successfully completed the Professional Coach Recognition Programme (PCRP). The PCRP is accredited by the Association for Coaching and is recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management
I am a member of the Association for Coaching and engage in regular coaching supervision. I am also a Wellbeing Coach having trained with the British School of Coaching, passing their Wellbeing Coaching Programme, which is also endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Fees are agreed at the first assessment meeting and a typical rate is £150.00 per hour.
Sam coached me through an exciting period in my career as I stepped up the management ladder. I felt completely at ease in conversation with her, and we covered so much ground over the course of our sessions including exploring my background, personal situation and career goals and aspirations.
