Alongside my role as a coach and psychologist, I am a psychotherapist and previously a Senior Lecturer. I work with both individuals and in organisations.
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology (BSc (Hons) Psych), a Certificate in Counselling Skills (CounsCert), a Masters degree in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MSc CBT), a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Psychology (PGDip Occ Psych) and trained in EMDR.
Im a Registered Qualified Test User with Occupational Ability and Occupational Personality in 15FQ+.
Alongside a CBT approach to my work, I incorporate a person centred approach and use elements of Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
As well as a Masters degree in CBT, I have undergone considerable training throughout my career and continue to update and improve my practice through regular supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) events. I have also undergone my own personal therapy, which I feel allows me to understand the perspective of my clients more.
