About me

Making one’s life fulfilling and purposeful sometimes gets overlooked.You may be reading this website with the intention / desire to resolve, or improve your life circumstances, and looking for a ‘sea change’ to achieve personal fulfilment. As a coach I can facilitate in helping you discover your natural talents and unique gifts to meet your own aspirations. I can offer you my knowledge, tools and techniques through a collaborative, integrative approach to bring about the change you want.

Together we will identify ways to build stepping stones to sustainable change and create a bridge between the present and the future.

I am particularly interested in Life Transitions everything from career transitions, redundancy, to pre and post retirement concerns.

I know from personal experience the demotivating, frustrating and demoralising effect dyslexia may have on life choices, self-esteem and self-confidence. Finding strategies to work with and not against the condition is an area that I can help you with.

Training, qualifications & experience

For over 40 years I have worked with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I have run my own business, worked within the arts, and brought my experience into many challenging environments whether it is to help find work, change career or make significant life transitions.

I am also a qualified therapist and careers coach.

For me COACHING stands for:

C=Clarity of Vision;

O=Options for Change;

A= Action Focussed;

C= Collaborative & Creative Process;

H= Human Potential;

I= Intuition;

G= Goal Setting.

During the coaching sessions there may be moments when we need to pay attention to what past and present influences contribute to where you are just now. As a qualified counsellor I can traverse these two approaches with sensitivity and skilful interventions. My coaching includes Motivational Coaching, Personal Development and Career Transition Coaching.

"I met Rhona after several years of unemployment and depression.  Rhona’s coaching skills are intuitive as she was quick to challenge my justifications and excuses, especially when I used age and lack of experience as deterrents to applying for a position. Through her coaching I learned how to move beyond my hesitations and to put my presumptions into context. With her personal advocacy I started a voluntary job which led to a paid position, and I began my journey back into employment. She continually encourages me.  I highly recommend her services as a life coach." - J. W. IT Contractor
