“ I am in my early 50’s, and during the past 10 years have been suffering mobility issues with a bad back and being on crutches, also through weight gain and various other incidents in my working life, I was also lacking in confidence. As a result of this lack of mobility and confidence I was almost completely house-bound suffering with anxiety and having panic attacks, only leaving to visit family or go to the office for work. During 2019, Mel was a huge support, helping me see my many positives, and encouraging me that if I can leave the house to go to work I can also leave to visit friends or go out for pleasure. With her coaching and support I was able to get through each hospital appointment and put each solution in place to help with weight loss, and getting more mobile. To help with mobility and anxiety around my confidence, Mel arranged to meet me to go into a department store to get back into being in a shop setting but also coping with Christmas shopping crowds. The incentive, not only meeting up with Mel face to face, but also a nice coffee and chat afterwards in a coffee shop. I went and to my utter amazement, I was able to move around the store without pain or fear of pain, and zero anxiety. Although during 2020 we had the COVID-19 Pandemic, Mel was able to encourage me to keep going with tackling my anxiety, putting tools in place to stop me feeling anxious about Corona Virus and although shielding I was able to go for walks in outdoor places keeping my distance but still getting out and about and enjoying life. Mel has also been instrumental in her encouragement of getting my art skills out there for public view and being confident enough in my talent to start up a small business producing original art and that by end of 2020 being confident enough to display my work on social media throughout not only UK but also across the world. Without Mel’s help and encouragement I would be unable to leave my house, and most certainly would not be brave enough to display my work to friends and family never mind to UK and the World. “ - Sarah
“I have been studying for a few years now towards my accountancy qualifications. I am at the final hurdle, which has seemed to be harder than ever. I got myself into a cycle of studying literally ALL the time, not having time for anything else, putting my all into it and failing the exam by a couple of marks when the time came. Then I would beat myself up for that.
Then along came Mel. Who to my horror tore up my study plan, and made me take a long look at what I was doing, and at how my own behaviour was contributing to my exam issues. She worked with me to study differently, and to look at myself differently. She made me give myself a break, and understand that it was OK to struggle, but also OK to take time for myself that didn't involve doing something for someone else. I listened to her, and low and behold I passed, with a really good mark! I would highly recommend Mel, she's very understanding and not once made me feel stupid, or dramatic - even when I was very clearly overreacting and getting overwhelmed. I also made a friend for life! Go Mel.” - Claire
"I have no words to describe how amazing Mel is. I’ve seen how hard she’s worked this year in her qualifications but in all honesty all this comes completely naturally to her; she listens, empathises and asks all the right questions to help you to try and find solutions and has helped me to find many techniques to try and help myself overcome the most challenging time in my life this year. Mel, you’re not done with me yet I’m afraid you help me more than you know and you deserve all the success with this. Thank you so much." - Ali
"Melanie has helped me numerous times over the last couple of years. She is so calming even when life feel chaotic, what I love most is even if you are her “main” client then she will acknowledge your family her in advice, after all it’s not going to work if your recommendation is for 2 days complete alone time but you have small children. Melanie has amazing ways of thinking outside the box with her advice. She always goes up above and beyond, I’ve been a personal witness to this when she’s been in the middle of something and a client rings, I get the nod and know she will be working for the next hour. She will always do her very best by you and give you Tailored advice to what ever your situation maybe. She is a very committed woman to her work and you’d be lucky to have her help you " - Carla
