Rebecca Fernandes-Green | Career and Wellbeing Coaching for Women

Stratford Upon Avon, CV37

About me

There has been modest progress in the representation of women in the corporate pipeline and as business owners in recent years. My mission is to support women to take control of everything their career and life throw at them by providing a personalised coaching solution that enables career success without compromising on wellbeing or home life.

Throughout my 18 years of corporate experience I have held roles from first line management to senior management across Insurance and Financial Services and have been through many transitions: had children and returned to work, achieved promotions, felt completely burnt out, worked full time, worked part time, was voluntarily demoted, had a period of illness, returned to work and had a complete career change.

Did I always have a successful career and thrive at home? Absolutely not, it’s hard! Did I have the time to focus on my career and development? Maybe on the drive to work! Did I always feel in control? No! But the game changer for me was employing the services of a coach and, after only a few sessions, I could very clearly define how I wanted to navigate my career and entire life and make plans to achieve it. That 'time out' of my life to look up and take stock was, and continues to be, incredibly powerful.

And, for the last 15 years I have coached and mentored women trying to do the same…..taking time out of their busy lives to do some real supported thinking on how to navigate a successful career (however you define that) while balancing demanding lives outside of work and prioritising your wellbeing.

Thriving rather than surviving.

Whether you are starting out on your career or in a senior leadership role I can support you to take time out to reflect on and get the most out of your career. Areas I can support with:

  • Returning to the workplace after periods away: maternity leave, illness, career break
  • Interview support: helping you to get that dream job
  • Dealing with difficult working relationships
  • Strategies to deal with day to day situations at work and office politics
  • Personal development at work
  • Improving work/life balance
  • Overcoming stress and burnout
  • Dealing with the double workload of having a career and running a household/caring responsibilities
  • Building confidence by overcoming limiting beliefs
  • Dealing with those things that sometimes hold us back: perfectionism, imposter syndrome, self doubt, fear
  • Overcoming lack of motivation and a feeling of going through the motions

How I Work

I offer a highly bespoke coaching approach, there are no tailored coaching programmes here. Depending on the subject, you may need 2 sessions or 6 but my solutions focussed methods mean you will leave our sessions with a way forward towards the career and life you want. We can meet in two ways:

  • Online via zoom
  • Walk and talk: walking coaching is amazing! It is less formal allowing for more creative thinking, you get fresh air, get your steps up and get away from the desk…talk about multi-tasking!

"I have been lucky enough to be coached by Becky during a really difficult time in my life. She has a natural gift of helping you to work through whatever challenges you may be facing. I had no confidence left when I first sat down with Becky and was ready to give up on a lot of things but she has helped me turn my life around so that I can believe in myself again. Thank you for everything Becky." RH.

"I can't thank Becky enough for the coaching support that she gave me whilst I was preparing for an important interview. Becky has a wealth of experience and is incredibly knowledgeable in how to get the best out of someone and how to build confidence, as well as advising on competency based interviewing techniques. Becky helped me to achieve my goal of driving my career forward and managing the work/life balance, which can at times feel very overwhelming. I felt empowered after my sessions with Becky and her bespoke coaching approach made me realise that I had more to offer than I initially realised. With Becky's help my career path is on track and I have more confidence in my abilities than ever before. I would highly recommend Becky if you are looking for a Career and Wellbeing Coach. " NG.
