About me

COACHING FOR CREATORS, INNOVATORS, CHANGE MAKERS & REBELS - find and follow your own path. I help you live and work on your own terms, achieving your own unique version of success. Book your free intro call now.

...enables you to be the best version of you. It gives you a chance to reflect on who you are, who you want to be and what you need to be able to really shine. In personal coaching, we consider everything that is going on for you, in all areas of your life, to identify and deal with the things that keep cropping up once and for all.

I work with:

  • The unsatisfied. You want more. This isn't what you thought your life was going to be.
  • The stuck. You've been saying you want to do something for ages but life always seem to get in the way.
  • The restless. You bounce from one thing to another with no sense of direction - hobbies, relationships or side-hustles.
  • ‍The self-saboteur. The thing that stops you is you - you know it even if you pretend not to. It's time for the voices in your head that stop you to shut up.
  • ‍The misfit. Wherever you go, whoever you're with, you don't feel like you're being yourself.

...is all about getting you the work life that you want whatever stage you're at. You might be looking to change something about your current role, to take the next step, or to switch it up completely and try something new. Whatever it is that makes your weekdays as great as your weekends.

I work with:

  • The de-motivated. You get a creeping feeling in the pit of your stomach on a Sunday night.
  • The misunderstood. You struggle to build productive relationships at work. Other people find it hard to work with you, or you find it hard to work with them.
  • The stretched. There aren't enough hours in the day - you're nothing getting things done.
  • The lost. This is not what you wanted to be when you grew up. You feel trapped.
  • The growing. You want to make conscious, informed decisions about your professional growth.

You bring the topic. I'll ask the questions you haven't thought of yet or challenge you with the ones you don't want to ask. Together, we'll get you where you want to go.

I'm supportive and caring. I'm curious. I believe in your potential. I'm honest. I don't sidestep difficult topics. I don't judge you. I really listen. I get to the heart of what matters. I treat you as an equal. We work as a team.

You're unique, and your coaching sessions will be too. I pull from a wide range of proven coaching models and techniques based in positive psychology, neurolinguistic programming, business innovation and more.

I believe creative activities boost learning and development; doing something a bit different helps us think differently and see something we couldn't before. We'll work together to find the approach that helps you get the most out of your coaching sessions.

Further information

"Rachel is warm and approachable, and always made me feel comfortable sharing quite personal information (even at the very beginning). I never felt judged or like I shouldn’t express myself, which I think is what allowed me to get so much out of the process. It really helped me to clarify what I ultimately want (and don’t want!) from my future and how I can achieve these goals." Tash (career coaching)

"Working with Rachel has helped me build confidence concerning my strengths and abilities and played a huge role in helping to gain clarity regarding my workplace values and what I want and don’t want in my next job. I valued Rachel's ability to push me for results without overstepping boundaries" Estera (career coaching)

"Rachel was of great use to me in gaining a fresh perspective on my problems, and helping me work out productive ways of tackling them. I would not hesitate to recommend her coaching to anyone." John (career coaching)

"Coaching with Rachel has had an incredible impact. It has made everything so much clearer in what I want to do. I feel I have learnt a lot about how I work and what motivates me as a person and I am really excited to put that into practice. I think coaching has given me the confidence to do what I want to do." Kesta (personal coaching)

“Before I met Rachel, I was getting too involved with controlling everything in my life; now I can trust myself and let go more. I’m going to reach my goal so much faster than I thought because Rachel has helped me to see that the things outside my comfort zone can be fun. I have so much more confidence now, it’s changed every part of my life – even the parts that I wasn’t expecting!” George (personal coaching)

"Rachel is a great listener and is able to draw out the most important topics of what is being said, she is also able to see the best and strongest parts of you. I can highly recommend working with Rachel, and I’m very grateful for her insight, patience and support." Evelina (personal coaching)

"Rachel has many strengths as a coach, and the most powerful is her presence. Because of that, her questions helped me to pause and go deeper rather than staying at surface level. We covered topics that were rather sensitive and she handled every moment with skill, kindness, and compassion. She spoke to my values and strengths, and she artfully challenged me if something felt out of sync, which made me feel seen and understood. If you are in search of an exceptional coach, I recommend Rachel highly." Laurie (personal coaching)

Before coaching, I spent most of my working life in project delivery. I've managed 7-figure corporate infrastructure roll outs, been part of a team delivering slick web apps to household name brands, and collaborated with some of the world's largest tech companies. But the part of my job that left me buzzing at the end of the day was helping the people and teams that I worked with to be proud of themselves and achieve more than they ever thought they could. That's what lead me to coaching.

I started Rachel Lee Coaching as a side-hustle in 2018 after completing formally accredited coach training, and made it my full time day job early in 2020. Woohoo! Now I get to spend my time getting curious and supporting my clients to be at their best. Sometimes it's challenging (on both sides) - no two days or situations are the same. And that's what I love about it.

I was born in York. Over the decades, I've made my way slowly south down the UK and I now live in Bristol - I lost the northern accent along the way. I'm an outgoing introvert: I love spending time in groups and meeting new people but I also really value time alone to recharge. I embroider, I write stories and poems, I read, I crochet and I knit in my spare time - anything that gets my imagination and creativity going. I like coffee, not tea. I really want a dog.
