My career has been somewhat diverse; I'm a vet by profession and am also a former programme manager and management consultant, with experience in a range of industries. At all stages of my career I found that people are often expected to fill management or leadership roles (on projects, as part of internal functions or as business owners) without being given the necessary training or support in how to manage and motivate people, how to balance their own roles and still have a personal life and without tackling their own limiting beliefs. I was lucky enough to benefit from coaching during my career and realised that there is a reason why it is consistently shown to be the most effective form of both personal and talent development.
