About me

I work with leaders of services supporting children and families to enable them to overcome challenges and create thriving organisational cultures. With my executive coaching and mentoring, you will achieve rapid individual growth and sustained performance improvement, for the ultimate benefit of the families that you have the privilege to serve.

My Background

I have extensive experience as a leader and as a coach and mentor in the education and voluntary sectors both in the UK and internationally, although my practice is not limited to these fields. Having led a range of organisations in very challenging circumstances - including during the current pandemic - I am able to bring this experience to my coaching practice for the benefit of my clients.

What to Expect

I usually begin coaching and mentoring interventions with diagnostic exercises to facilitate a full understanding of clients’ needs. Coaching and/or mentoring sessions typically last around an hour, although this can be tailored to suit your requirements. There are various meeting options: online, at your place of work (dependant on location) or at my office in London N17.

My Training and Qualifications

I am accredited at Senior Practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council having gained a Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring with the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a Level 7 Diploma in Professional Consulting with the Chartered Management Institute.

My Experience

I have over 20 years’ experience as a leader and 9 years’ experience as a coach and mentor. This includes: leadership roles in a range of challenging environments, from heading a key component of the humanitarian response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake, to managing inner city London schools in some of the most deprived areas of the country; and coaching and mentoring roles working with middle and senior leaders across a range of organisations including schools, school improvement organisations and within the charitable sector.

As a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I rigorously adhere to their Global Code of Ethics. This widely-used code of conduct regulates the professional practice of all EMCC members and covers the challenging issues and difficult decisions that may be faced in coaching practice. Getting to Know Each Other

Before embarking on coaching with a new client, I offer a free 30 minute "harmony session" to ensure that we both have a full understanding of your needs and feel confident that I will be able to successfully support you in achieving your professional goals.  


I operate a sliding fee scale depending on whether I'm coaching/mentoring an individual or a team.  Additionally, factors such as whether clients are paying privately or the sessions are being funded by their place of work will also come into the mix when setting charges. I will be able to propose a fee following our harmony session.

If we decide to proceed, we will agree a clear contract together which will outline expectations in terms of our working relationship.  There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions required; this will be led by each client’s individual needs and can be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

I can see clients Monday - Friday between 5pm and 9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 4pm.
