Hi! My name's Paul and I'm passionate about helping people find the life they truly desire.
Right now you may be facing one or more of the following:
- feeling stuck, lost or lacking direction
- dragged down by unhelpful behaviour (e.g. addiction, anger
- want to feel more confident and alive
- you know what you 'should' be doing (e.g. eat healthier, take more exercise), but can't get motivated
Here's the good news: Whatever challenge you're currently facing, it can be overcome! Not only that but further down the line you may actually be grateful for today's challenge because it was the impetus for taking your life in a whole new direction - people report this back to me all the time!
Training, qualifications & experience
I am fascinated by the human condition, in fact I have been studying it for many years - it's both my profession and my passion. I have searched extensively through a range of philosophies and techniques (both ancient and modern, Eastern and Western) to develop what I consider to be a fairly unique approach to finding happiness in the 21st century. The wide range of tools and approaches I use are tried and tested (on both myself and others) so I am confident they deliver results. If I had to label what I do I'd say it's a combination of life coaching, NLP and counselling. I have also developed many of my own techniques, so am flexible to what will work best for each individual I work with.
I qualified as an osteopath in 2006 so have a good understanding of the mind-body interaction, including stress and how to build resilience. I gained my qualification in life coaching in 2012 and NLP in 2010.
If you're feeling life could be better, and you would benefit from talking with someone where do you turn? There are many excellent professionals out there and I would recommend having a chat first to get a 'feel', your intuition will undoubtedly tell you who to work with. For that reason, I offer an initial no-obligation chat over the phone for you to ask questions and for us both to explore if we might be a good match.
It's important we all take ownership of ours lives (and for you to get the most out of us working together), so I encourage all my clients to take positive (and mutually-agreed!) action between sessions. Although I hope you will find our sessions life-changing, it's important to note that coaching and NLP are not passive processes!
We will cover tools and techniques to keep you moving forwards with your life, rather than becoming dependent on a coach or therapist. You may even want to share them with your family and friends. So much so that people often report gratitude for yesterday's challenges, which (as it turned out) provided a springboard to a whole new life!
My approach probably won't suit everyone but if you're ready for change then let's talk. Whether we end up working together or not, I truly wish you well finding the success and happiness you deserve.
Areas of coaching I deal with
Other areas of coaching I deal with
I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and I particularly enjoy helping to resolve self-sabotaging behaviours - when we know (often very well!) what we should be doing but can't somehow manage to motivate ourselves. Sound familiar?
I offer sessions face to face in the Worthing and over the telephone/skype (you could be anywhere in the world).
