I’m Olivia and I live in the Cambridgeshire Fens with my partner and our 2 rambunctious dogs, Gracie and Oscar.
I am a Stress & Anxiety Coach, accredited by Animas Centre for Coaching, and I empower stressed and anxious individuals, enabling them to lead fulfilling and joyful lives whilst accepting and living with their condition. Through transformational coaching I help clients to develop trust in themselves, grow in confidence and fall in love with who they truly are.
My passion is supporting people who are committed to working on themselves at a deeper level, setting them free to:
Get clarity on what they want to do and who they want to be;
Discover what is holding them back from achieving their vision;
Overcome negative thoughts and limiting beliefs;
Take action and build an authentic life that makes them feel engaged, happy and fulfilled, and;
Thrive in spite of stress and anxiety.
Training, qualifications & experience
Diploma in Transformational Coaching from Animas Centre for Coaching (accredited by the ICF and AC).
I have had a couple of different careers in my life. Firstly, I was a front-line police officer for 9 years, working the mean streets of Lancashire. I then made the transition into the private sector and worked in HR in Cambridgeshire for a few years. It wasn’t too big a jump as my police experience gave me many invaluable and transferable skills. Then one day I decided to leave my HR manager role and take some time to decide what I wanted my next step to be. The reason for my resignation? On paper I had a great job with a prestigious company that was very supportive of my personal development and I was being paid more than I had ever expected. Who in their right mind would leave that?
In my heart and in my head something didn’t feel right. I wasn’t being me. I felt as though I was acting in a role. A role I was very good at, but being good at something wasn’t enough. I wanted to be me. I wanted to be true to myself. I wanted to be happy.
That’s when I started Authentic Olivia Coaching. I am finally being my authentic self and feel more empowered and happier than I have ever done before.
Why coach people with stress & anxiety?
Because I’ve been there. I’ve done that. I’ve bought the t-shirt. My personal experience of coaching is that it has greatly improved my symptoms of stress and anxiety, despite having never been coached directly on those issues!
Coaching is action-oriented and having a safe non-judgemental space to discuss my values, my beliefs and my dreams allowed me to find a way to achieve what I wanted to achieve.
I am in a place where I feel happy, proud of myself and more fulfilled than I ever have done before. Being able to connect with and recognise my achievements has empowered me and now my stress and anxiety just don’t seem as important anymore.
I am passionate about helping others living with stress and anxiety achieve the same.
How it works
My coaching sessions are confidential and completely non-judgemental. They will be led by you and what you want to work on, but I will use techniques to provide you with clarity and empower you to find solutions.
I use a range of techniques including cognitive behavioural coaching, future pacing, person-centred theory, transactional analysis and narrative coaching. These are powerful techniques that help to unlock your ideas and find the right solution for you.
I coach online using Zoom or on the phone. If you are based within Cambridgeshire or bordering counties and would like 'in person' coaching, please contact me to see if we can make this happen.
I do not take on any clients without first having a complimentary discovery call. Discovery calls last around 45 minutes and they are vital for me to find out more about your coaching needs and for you to find out more about my coaching style and approach. Coaching will not work if the coach and client are not a good fit!
As I mainly coach online I also work with international clients.
It takes time and commitment to put in the work required to see a transformation through coaching. That’s why I like to work with dedicated clients over an extended period of time through coaching packages. My coaching sessions last 75 minutes each and in between sessions you receive personal email support from me. The content of the sessions and emails is tailored to your needs and provides you with the coaching support required to achieve sustainable results.
