About me

As a Mental Health Specialist Coach, my primary focus is to help executives who are facing workplace bullying to take control of their situation, and enable them to resume their job duties with confidence.

Being a target of a workplace bully has to be one of the loneliest places to find yourself. After a bruising encounter you find yourself experiencing intrusive thoughts about the injustice of it all. You become depressed and the things you used to enjoy have gone. You suffer and so does your family.

Before long you find yourself in a very dark place; not only are there constant ruminations about work events but other more scary thoughts too. Remember, however, you do not deserve this. You have done nothing wrong. Don't suffer alone talk to someone.

About me:

I am a retired Nursing Officer (QARANC), war veteran and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. I served in the Defence Mental Health Services for most of my career, deploying to various combat zones and providing psychological support to our troops.

After retiring from the military in 2017, I returned to the NHS but have since left and set up my coaching practice.

I am trained in evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioural coaching approaches, and I have a thorough understanding of the complex needs of trauma survivors whether traumatised by war, domestic violence & abuse or bullying in the workplace.

My one-on-one sessions are charged at £260 per session, and are tailored to your specific needs and goals. I offer a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioural coaching and positive psychology, to help you achieve lasting change.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, I also offer education and training packages for individuals and organizations. My comprehensive education and training package is priced at £2080 and it is designed to provide individuals and organizations with the tools and knowledge they need to promote mental health and well-being in their workplace or community. The package includes a series of workshops, training materials, and ongoing support.

I am happy to work with you to find a payment plan that fits your budget.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

As an Armed Forces veteran I have an interest in the psychology of war; that is how it affects the men and women who experience it. I am passionate about helping the veteran's community. It is my belief that our experiences imbue resilience and by focussing this we are able to overcome all manner of obstacles. Sometimes, in the role transition between serviceman/woman and civilian, we lose sight of our unique qualities. I will help you refocus and move forward in whatever sphere of life you choose.

Further information

As an accomplished executive who understands the complexities of the professional world, I can relate to the isolating and distressing experience of being targeted by a workplace bully. It can leave you feeling incredibly alone and trapped in a situation that seems impossible to escape.

I understand that reaching a certain age and stage in life can bring additional challenges when it comes to dealing with workplace bullying. Responsibilities such as a mortgage, providing for your children's education and well-being, and securing your pension can make it difficult to simply walk away from a toxic work environment.

After enduring a particularly bruising encounter, the aftermath can be overwhelming. Intrusive thoughts about the injustice of it all start to consume your mind, replaying the hurtful words and actions over and over again. The weight of these experiences takes a toll on your mental well-being, leading to a deepening sense of depression. As a result, the activities and hobbies that used to bring you joy now feel distant and unappealing.

It's important to recognize that the impact of workplace bullying extends beyond yourself. Your loved ones, particularly your family, also suffer as they witness the toll it takes on your emotional state. The strain on relationships can be significant, as the effects of the bullying permeate into all aspects of your life.

While the circumstances may seem overwhelming, taking the first step toward seeking assistance can be empowering. By reaching out to professionals who specialize in workplace bullying and mental well-being, you can begin to reclaim your sense of self, rebuild your confidence, and develop strategies to navigate through this challenging situation.
