About me

Hi, thank you for visiting my profile.

You might feel a little bit stuck in a particular area of your life, had your confidence knocked, experiencing some anxiety or are just looking to make sure that you are truly living your best life. I support career focus, establishing healthy relationships,  pre and post adoption and other parental challenges. I will help you map out where you are and where you hope to be in the future. I would love to help and use my experience and listening skills to support you on finding your next steps.

My life experience includes near early-death, financial hardship, poor physical and  mental health and loss of parents at a young age and becoming the carer to my younger siblings. My wife and I were unable to have children and so have experienced the adoption and IVF processes. Adopting children with learning difficulties, autism, adhd and epilepsy has been a wonderful and challenging experience. A working career like many, full of ups and downs including discrimination for leaving school at sixteen to earn money for the family, ageism, some redundancies including being pushed aside from new arrivals at the helm.

As I have said, I would love to help. I am an accredited life and professional coach with the International Coaching Federation(ICF) and an Advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitoner. I can support you to see what you cannot see in yourself and have the tools to help you work out what you want and how to achieve it. I work with adults and young people across a whole range of challenges. These sessions are conducted face-to-face or online and I work with individuals, schools, additional needs groups and corporates.

We are all on our personal journeys and mine so far consists of experiencing a level of poverty, a father with his mental health challenges and multiple sclerosis as I was growing up.  Then dealing with bereavement by losing parents at a relatively young age and supporting my younger siblings, experiencing the sadness of not having birth children through to the joy of adoption and the challenges that neglect, abuse, autism, adhd, neuro-divergence, additional learning needs and epilepsy have brought. I also worked at senior levels in corporate companies and understand the challenges that the pressures of striving for success and the fear and reality of redundancy can bring.

In addition to my life coaching and NLP qualifications, I am qualified and and experienced breathing trainer, forest bathing guide, mindfulness and meditation coach and sleep adviser. Depending on the needs and preferences of my clients I can integrate any or all of these to support your journey.
