Working, writing and running, finding time in an otherwise busy world
I started out as someone who lacked self-belief and confidence, worrying far too much about what others thought of me and was desperate to please..... I was skeptical about coaching and whether it could help me however after 4 sessions and with very clever questioning from Nicky I learnt to recognise that I really was good enough, I now have a clear view of my aims and how I am going to achieve them matched with self confidence and the belief to succeed.

How my past shapes my future
I have 17 years experience managing and leading within IBM's Global Technology Services (GTS) Business. Leading, coaching and mentoring specialist technical and service integration teams to support the delivery of large scale, complex IT programmes.
This taught me how a balanced approach to leading and working, not only in business but also in life, is essential. You are only as successful as your ability to keep moving forward in the right direction and you have to course correct occasionally to stay on track. I also know that to do this you will need support from a coach or mentor.
I have studied and qualified in many areas over the years, a few of these qualifications are detailed below and show the depth of my knowledge in both coaching, leading and fitness. However my depth of knowledge is only as good as my continued personal development which I am committed to daily through reading, listening and research. What doesn't challenge you doesn't change you
With anything it is the space in which I challenge myself and push my limits that make me the person I am today. I want to be an inspiration and a role model to my two mighty girls (14 and 11); being a working Mother has had its ups and downs and in that time I have learnt how hard it can be to nurture two growing and inquisitive girls. Building a relationship that is mutual in its love and respect takes time. I work hard to keep that balance and never take a day for granted - this has taken patience with myself as I have learnt how to grow into the parent I want to be.
Challenge for me also comes in my choice of exercise. Since living fit I have completed 3 Marathons, each with their own unique goal from simply finishing, getting to the start line or achieving a personal best. I have also cycled a number of century (100 mile) rides and embraced my love of cycle related adventures in choosing to take my bike to places some people would laugh at. I have pedalled from Coast to Coast, riding The South Downs Way (100 miles off-road), cycled my way from London to Paris, taken an off-road adventure across the Trans Cambrian Way through mid Wales (100 miles and 15,000ft of climbing) and in 2017 I completed the epic John O'Groats to Lands End (989 miles in 13 days) bike ride solo and unsupported.
As you will see fitness is part of my life journey not just my business model. Being both fit of body and mind is more than the daily steps I take or the weekly cardio workout I do. It is how it makes me feel as a person, how it enables me to achieve my business goals and my life dreams. It nurtures me and nourishes me and I know that without my daily dose of outdoors I am less able to reflect, feel grateful and help others.
Supporting fitness outside of coaching...
When I am not working, being a Mum or pedalling off on my adventures, I support my local running club as a run leader and cycling club as an adult and youth coach. Encouraging novice runners and cyclists to simply get out there and try it, from getting people from couch to 5k to training individuals to cycle their first sportive or kids to stick with a sport they love.
I offer my professional services to a few individuals to learn how to take to the road on two wheels and there is an opportunity to combine your life coaching with either a cycling or running programme.

I offer a free 45 minute, no obligation sample coaching session that will help you and I understand more about what you are looking to achieve from coaching.
I have developed a 3 Month: Fit for Life Programme, this 12 week programme combines a 1.5 hour discovery session, 5 x 45 minute 1:1 coaching sessions, regular emails giving you specific coaching exercises and learning opportunities as well as a closed Facebook group that offers daily inspiration and support. The cost of this programme is £950.
