About me

I am a certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner and am the founder of Nathan John Wood life coaching. I have supported people through life-changing processes and facilitated the changes within themselves. Eradicated their limiting beliefs and help them discover their life's true purpose. I believe that all answers lie within ourselves and that we all can be at cause rather than effect.

Using NLP we can set appropriate and achievable goals, implement new strategies for dealing with situations. Eradicate phobias. Get rid of any limiting beliefs and fears about yourself and boost your self-confidence. I will help you make lasting positive changes, allow you to be all you should be, live the life you deserve to have and make you happier and more fulfilled.

Further information

I gained an Honours degree in pharmacy from Portsmouth University in 2000. I then worked as a community pharmacist in Wales. I then travelled extensively I gained an MSc in community pharmacy in 2009 from Cardiff University.

In 2013 I was on Holiday with my family where I stumbled upon the book 'How to Win Friends and Influence People'. It proved to be life-changing.

Since then I have been on a journey of self-discovery and introspection and how best to use my skills and knowledge to benefit people to reach their absolute maximum potential and facilitate the change that will allow them to become all they should be.

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a way to help you realise your true potential through a process of uncovering and then eliminating destructive behavioural and thinking patterns in your life in a supportive, caring and inspirational environment.

Coaching is a solution-focused approach to personal development that can assist you in making a lasting change in all areas of life. It will give you the tools to break away from the negativity that is keeping you shackled and holding you back. It allows people to help themselves by unlocking the brilliance contained within them.

All achieved by empowering people with specific tools and scientifically tested techniques that work.

What is NLP?

NLP is an instruction manual for the mind. NLP is how we use the language of the mind to achieve our specific and desired outcomes consistently.

NLP is a potent tool to change our internal representation,  state or physiology to allow us to improve our behaviour. We then ultimately amend our outcomes

I offer a free meeting where we can discuss any issues that you want to work on and how best to approach them in a way that works best for you.

The full coaching programme – Is a 13 session Life coach programme.  Each session lasts between 60-90 mins. This programme will take you on a journey of self-realisation. From where you are starting from, where you want to go and how you will get there.  It will demand your complete commitment, and with the guarantee that you will change into the person you need to be to achieve your goals and realise your dreams.

6.       Rules

7.       Human Needs – Which ones do you need to be met?

8.       Communication and projection.

9.       Responsibility

10.   Questions – the answer to everything

13.   Celebration – A recap of the journey and where are you now


We can work session by session working on your goals and milestones to see where you are going. We can eradicate your limiting beliefs on how to get there and any other issues that emerge throughout the process.

Each session lasts between 60-90 minutes and will be tailored specifically to you, following the free initial consultation. Single sessions or a discounted packaged can be purchased. These can be conducted face to face, via telephone or zoom.
