Natasha Harvey - Communications Specialist and Coach (Dip. Coach, MAC; NLP Cert)
I am a Communications Specialist, ICF Accredited Coach and Certified Practitioner of NLP. I support women in embracing their ambitions and taking charge of their professional lives.
I run EmbraceMyFuture, a coaching and practical skills training programme to help women:
• know their own strengths and preferences better
• take self-confidence, self-awareness and communication skills seriously
• make a plan for the future
My purpose is to help shift mental barriers and mindset from ‘I’m not ready’ to one of ‘moving forward with intention.’
Focussing on developing potential and transferable skills, EmbraceMyFuture supports women in actively managing their careers and thriving in what they choose to do.
It’s ideal for women :
• facing workplace challenges
• wanting to build a career with purpose
• transitioning to a new role or career
• seeking promotion into management or leadership roles
• returning to work after maternity or a career break
My career has seen me work as a Brit within a French organisation, a woman within predominantly male industries and an advocate for emotional intelligence within the workplace.
It’s meant I’ve become highly aware of how to use the power of communications to re-shape expectations, influence often sceptical audiences, take people on a journey and ultimately to be heard.
Training, qualifications & experience
Having worked in Corporate Communications for over 20 years in international organisations across several countries and cultures, I have built and led large teams at a senior level.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role over the last few years has been coaching and mentoring people as they take the next step in their careers, face new challenges, or take a step into the unknown.
I decided to bring these skills together and take a formal qualification in Transformational Coaching with the Animas Centre for Coaching, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Association for Coaching (AC).
I now work with organisations and individuals helping them to manage and communicate change.
Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.
