It has certainly given us the time to step back and reflect on who we are… but what’s next?

This might be a good opportunity to take the next step and look into this together. Here is what a Transformational Coaching Session can help you with:

  • ...and much more!

Transformational Careers Coaching

Do you have big dreams for your career, but are yet to fully realise your potential?

You feel stuck, because you are in a job that pays the bills, but you haven’t got the tools to move forward.

You don’t believe in yourself. You often assume that people around are right and would rather hold off from expressing your opinion. You underestimate yourself.

You feel overwhelmed about your workload and struggle to face work every morning. You have been going round in this vicious circle and would like to change it.

You are doing your best, but are not getting anywhere. You doubt yourself and don’t feel capable enough.

You want to build good relationships with your boss and colleagues, but don’t know where to start. You don’t feel a valued team member.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

How do I know?

I know, because I’ve felt that way too.

''You are a Scaredy-Cat''. This is what I was told as a child and this is what I believed. I built my whole identity around this belief.

I was shy as a kid. I didn’t know how to express myself in social situations. I didn’t want to stand out from the crowd. Always hiding, wished I could just put on an invisibility cloak.

Deep inside I felt that I didn’t want to carry this way for the rest of my life. This feeling became so painful that I needed to do something about it.

I remember the exact moment I made the decision to go and study abroad for a year. I was told that I wouldn’t be able to cope, that I wasn’t independent enough, that I wasn’t brave enough… I heard what I felt I already knew. I questioned and doubted myself.

It was a huge decision to make, my decision. Something inside me knew this was the right way forward for me.

That year turned out to be the best time of my life and the label of scaredy-cat suddenly lost its significance.

I then relocated to London and went through a major personal and professional transition. Although I first took work as a Bartender, I soon was able to progress into Recruitment Consultancy. I worked at the prestigious University of Oxford, where I became a member of the Coaching Network and I still provide regular coaching services.

Now I know that I took on the label of scaredy-cat and this created my whole world. It limited me so much and I believed that I didn’t have the courage to be anything more than average. I can now say I am grateful for all that this experience brought to my life.

Today I am in a position to use all this experience in my role as a Transformational Coach.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience

I help women who feel stuck and without hope of direction to face their life’s challenges with courage so that they believe and trust themselves.

I have learned to dream again and to make plans for the future without fear or shame. Elisabete, Oxford.

I support women who undervalue themselves as professionals to build self-esteem in order to increase their confidence and stand up for themselves.

I was caught in a negative and self-deprecating loop when I first hired Monika as my coach. She really helped turn things around for me, resulting in me being much more confident and being true to my boundaries. Sonia, Oxford.

After only six sessions my confidence has soared in my given area and I am now in a place I couldn’t have hoped to be only three months ago. Jo, Oxford

I help professionals who feel overwhelmed with their workload to take positive action and speak to their boss so that they improve their mental well-being.

I came to Monika a bit overwhelmed with my head full of things. She had a miraculous way of helping me to see and approach a very important issues that have been holding me back in a different way. Monika, London

I support graduates looking for their first job to figure out what they want so they make the right decision about their future career.

I’m just so pleased that I finally found what I wanted to do. It was so helpful to speak aloud and articulate my thoughts, and I feel that I’ve gained such a deeper understanding of myself... If it weren’t for your guidance I wouldn’t have perhaps made the correct decisions for myself in the long run. Olivia, Oxford

I provide 1:1 careers advice sessions for the Oxford University Newcomers' Club where I work with expats who are looking to start their career in the UK.

I have worked as an Internal Coach at the University of Oxford where I provided support to employees on a daily basis.

Monika’s coaching enabled me to take a positive attitude to change within the institution. As a coach, she listened and questioned in a positive and supportive way, enabling me to see the paths that I could take to work better with colleagues and to be a better leader for my team. Ana, Oxford.
