About me
Hello, I'm Meriel. I'm an Intuitive Coach and Guide, and I want to help you live your purposeful life. You want something different, to make a change. It might be physical and/or behavioural, tangible and/or intangible. And it's a challenge to work it all through on your own.
I bring intuition, intelligence and heart and I use these to enable you to move towards your dreams, intentions and goals.
On the way, I will help you make connections between your feeling, thinking and acting so you can let go of old patterns which no longer serve you and welcome some new habits and a sense of purpose into your life.
Coaching is a transformative experience. It's like the ripple effect when you drop a stone into water. Life is the water and the stone changes it, ripple after ripple after ripple.
Choosing the right coach for you is really important. A good coach will put you at your ease and create a trusting and safe relationship with you. In my experience, there's no substitute for a gut reaction so please take up my offer of a free and informal chat before we decide whether to continue working together.
Coaching is all about you. Listening and observing, asking insightful questions which will give you those lightbulb moments. Coaching removes the obstacles or blockers, the things which hold us back, so we can be propelled forward at greater speed, straight towards our life of choice.

Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Business and Life Coaching, awarded by the Association for Coaching in 2012. I also hold a Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, awarded by the Association for NLP, in 2012.
I'm also a GIPD from way back in 1992, and have spent much of my time working closely with HR.
Member organisations
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.
The Association for Neuro Linguistic Programming (ANLP) is a UK Association for NLP Professionals.

I'm a Systemic Coach and I also work in Clean Language and with Metaphor. I use my intuition and weave together the threads of your story, creating greater connection and understanding for you along the way.

Additional information
I always meet new clients for a free and informal chat first. We'll find somewhere mutually convenient which offers some privacy and decent tea and coffee and allows us to explore what you want to achieve from the coaching.
Although I charge an hourly rate, I believe you are paying me to deliver results. If you are a business, then working on your site with you and your team on a day rate plus expenses is the norm. If you are an individual or small business owner, then I use sessions instead, and allow up to two hours a session if required. Sometimes we'll use all the time and sometimes we won't because you've had a breakthrough and it's a good point to close the session.
