Let's step out for a moment together and consider your current situation. Let's look at what you need and want. Or start exploring what you think you might need or want. What do you want to hear? From me? From yourself? Let's turn things around (perhaps even upside-down!), challenge the status quo (includes you!) and reveal your preferred future. What do you see? How does it feel?
And what will you do?
Of course, change and progress require action as well as thought, exploration and creativity.
So, together, we'll establish new or clearer goals and determine how best you're going to move forwards. Like the sound of a personal, inspiring and effective action plan?
As you then implement your plan, I provide encouragement, a sounding board, accountability and congratulations. We'll continually review progress, assess (and appreciate!) all the learnings and enjoy all the a-ha moments. You will receive impartial and non-judgemental (but sometimes gently challenging!) feedback and I'll assist you to address any setbacks and practical obstacles too.
I'm a Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, Motivational, Mindful and NLP coach. This means I can also help you overcome those psychological obstacles (unhelpful and hampering thoughts, feelings and behaviours) that we often encounter along the way to achievement and success.
Furthermore, you will get to know yourself better as a result of coaching and find yourself even more prepared for future aims and aspirations!

My coaching taster/chemistry meeting
I believe that coaching begins best with a NO OBLIGATION face-to-face taster session/chemistry meeting and this is the first step in my 1-1 services. I introduce myself, my coaching and you tell me all about your needs, hopes and aspirations. All in confidence of course.
The quality of the relationship between you and your coach is important to the success of the coaching programme.
If, after chatting, we think we can work well together and meet each other's expectations, we'll start looking at our coaching agreement and programme. This includes considering 'why coaching and how come now?', the outcomes you're hoping for, the location and frequency of our meetings, our roles and responsibilities, confidentiality, data privacy, payment and cancellation terms, service evaluation.

My monthly outdoor group sessions - Fresh Air Fridays in Newport
Welcome to #FreshAirFridays! Your opportunity to stop, relax, recharge and explore how to create the life, work and wellbeing you want - all whilst being outdoors in glorious nature with a small group of like-minded people. Each session contains a different wellbeing related conversation theme and regular segments such as guided breathing and relaxation.
Come along to my monthly 3 hour session in Newport on the first Friday of every month 10am-1pm at the RSPB Wetlands Nature Reserve. Or my alternative venue if the coastal path is due to be a bit TOO fresh. We go out in all weathers!
Booking is required to participate and all you need to bring along is yourself (friends welcome too) and a flask of hot water for the tea break. Some people choose to bring along a bottle of water too. Come along and see what we do for yourself!

I work with private clients, employers and service providers. I have been a preferred supplier of coaching to Macmillan Professionals since 2015 and my other collaborations/experience includes Shaw Trust, Expanding Horizons Housing Association, DWP Jobcentre Plus (Work Psychologist), Rethink Mental Illness, NHS Mental Health Services and NHS Primary Care.
My MSc research explored the successful return to work journeys of people who were previously on long term sick leave. The findings are available on my website.
Not all but many of my clients have been people managing some anxiety, depression, a physical health condition/disability or neurodiversity (i.e. Dyslexia) alongside life and work. Please notice: Coaching is not a substitute for counselling or other talking therapies or professional supervision (for Health and Social Care, Counselling & Coaching professionals) however they can run alongside each other if appropriate to do so.

For 1-1 coaching, choose from outdoor coaching (alongside glorious nature!), coffee lounge coaching (in pre-selected and comfortable venues) and private room coaching. For private sessions, I use the comfortable meeting rooms at Wellbeing Solutions, Newport and R&R Consulting Centre, Cardiff. Telephone coaching sessions also available.
1-1 coaching via invoice to a company / employer / service provider is negotiated separately.
The rates below include preparation time, travel time and travel costs where relevant, session set-up time and in-session costs where relevant, materials and session follow up.

Coaching partnerships: from £280 per month (connecting weekly via a mix of face to face, telephone & email coaching)

Then, if you love it, choose a #FreshAirFridays membership (with additional benefits) or Pay As You Go (PAYG).
Annual membership options are £250 upfront or £25 per month.
PAYG is £28 per session or 3 Tempo Time Credits.

Currently receiving a low wage or income?
I offer 'Pay What You Want Wednesdays' in Newport for those currently receiving a low wage or income. Outdoor and coffee lounge 1-1 coaching available. Offering you the discretion to pay what you wish.
The Pay What You Want (PWYW) service can also be provided on-site at workplaces and service providers happy to host this service. Giving staff/patients/clients/residents/housing association tenants/customers easy access to life, work and wellbeing coaching.
Payment & cancellation terms
Payment at time of booking is required to secure 1-1 coaching sessions, the #FreshAirFridays annual membership and a PAYG #FreshAirFridays session attendance. Payments accepted via Bank Transfer.
Monthly Standing Orders are accepted for 1-1 coaching partnerships and #FreshAirFridays membership instalments.
30 day payment terms for invoices to companies, employers and service providers.
Two working days notice required to re-arrange a session booking or receive a return of session payment.
