What is coaching?
Coaching is all about being and feeling the best you can and achieving in life what you're really hoping for - and it's for anyone! Anyone who wants to make changes or make progress.
It is also for people who may have started already but have become stuck or stalled. And if you don't know where to start, I can help with that too. Welcome to Agdela Coaching and Fresh Air Fridays!
I'm based in fabulous Newport, South Wales and offer walking and talking outdoors, plus coffee lounge coaching in pre-selected and comfortable venues. Telephone coaching also available. I look forward to hearing from you!

Of course, change and progress require action as well as thought, reflection and exploration. So, together, we'll establish some new (or clearer) aims and goals and determine how best you're going to move forwards with them.
As you implement your inspiring new plan, I'll provide encouragement, a sounding board, accountability and congratulations. I will also provide impartial, non-judgement and sometimes (gently!) challenging observations and feedback. We'll review progress, assess (and appreciate!) the range of learnings and enjoy all the a-ha moments. I can assist you to address setbacks and practical obstacles too.
I'm a Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, Motivational, Mindful and NLP coach. This means I can also help you overcome those psychological obstacles (unhelpful and hampering thoughts, feelings and behaviours) that we often encounter along the way to achievement and success.
Furthermore, you will get to know yourself better as a result of coaching and find yourself even more prepared for future aims and aspirations!

I believe that coaching begins best with a NO OBLIGATION face-to-face taster session/chemistry meeting and this is the first step in my 1-1 services. I introduce myself and you tell me a bit more about your current situation. All in confidence of course.
The quality of the relationship between you and your coach is important to the success of the coaching programme.
If, after chatting, we think we can work well together and meet each other's expectations, we'll start looking at a coaching agreement and programme. This is likely to capture 'how come coaching now?', the outcomes you're hoping for, the location and frequency of our meetings, confidentiality and our roles and responsibilities.

Outdoor group sessions - Fresh Air Fridays in Newport
Welcome to Fresh Air Fridays! An invitation to relax and recharge alongside exploring how to create the life, work and wellbeing you want. To discover your best self whilst outdoors in nature with like-minded others. Each session contains a different wellbeing related conversation theme and regular segments such as a guided breathing exercise, being present and a guided relaxation.
Come along to my 3 hour session in Newport on the first Friday of every month at the RSPB Wetlands Nature Reserve. Or my alternative venue if the coastal path is due to be a bit TOO fresh. We go out in all weathers!
Booking is required to participate and all you need to bring along is yourself (friends welcome too) and a flask of hot water for the tea break. Some people choose to bring along a bottle of water also.
The experience of the Fresh Air Fridays team has shown that many people know how to look after their physical wellbeing – whether or not they choose to do so – but far fewer know how to look after their mental and emotional wellbeing. All Fresh Air Fridays sessions take place outdoors in green spaces, all over the country, and are not limited to just Fridays. Get that Friday feeling any day of the week!

I have been coaching for 20 years and I work in the Newport area with private clients and service providers. I am a preferred supplier of coaching to Macmillan Professionals and my other collaborations/experience includes Shaw Trust (Return To Work Coaching), Expanding Horizons Housing Association (Facilitator & Coach), DWP Jobcentre Plus (Work Psychologist), Rethink Mental Illness (Condition Management Coach) and NHS Primary Care (Assistant Health Psychologist).

Outdoor group sessions - Fresh Air Fridays
My monthly 3 hour session in Newport: First time FREE.
Then £25 per month or £28 per session depending on whether you choose the Fresh Air Fridays Membership (with additional benefits) or Pay As You Go. Paying for one year's membership via an upfront payment is £250.
Are you a Tempo volunteer? Spend your credits at Fresh Air Fridays - come along to any session for 3 Tempo Time Credits.

Payment & cancellation terms
Payment in advance is kindly required and accepted via Bank Transfer or Standing Order with a minimum of 2 working days notice for the rearrangement of 1-1 coaching sessions. Short notice rearrangements obviously considered for unforeseen and exceptional circumstances.
