About me

Not feeling happy with your body is a very personal issue. Having been a life coach for a number of years, I kept finding that this was a subject that would consistently come up with many of my female clients. Often I would find that a client's feelings of self-worth and lack of confidence would be tied in with how they felt about their body and their weight.  It is an area of our life that can be inextricably linked with many other areas such as relationships, career, and even what we allow ourselves to do and experience.

We have been lead to believe that if you are not happy with your weight or your body, all you need to do is to 'eat less and exercise' more. However, you only need to try this paradigm a few times to realise it is a very ineffective long-term strategy when it comes to permanent weight loss.

There are many other factors that need to be considered when it comes to achieving weight loss goals and more importantly, being able to sustain them. If these are not considered, then a person might find themselves on the agonising yoyo diet cycle.

It is for this reason that I have developed a series of coaching sessions that aim to cover all the most important aspects that need to be considered to achieve sustainable weight loss. What is of paramount importance, is that a client does not feel that they are in a battle with their bodies. Using willpower as a long-term strategy to lose weight is simply not practical or sustainable.

Through coaching, I help a client to create the relationship that they want with food and that allows them to achieve the weight and body that they are looking for. They also find the confidence and trust in themselves that they are going to be able to sustain the changes they have made for the rest of their lives.

Creating sustainable habits is the key to sustainable weight loss. It is what you learn to do automatically that determines your long-term weight. To be able to create those habits can be more complicated than simply deciding that you are going to behave differently, as many of us already know. My program provides a comprehensive approach to ensuring that those changes can be made as effortlessly as possible.

I use a combination of life coaching, NLP and EFT to enable a person to find the freedom they are looking for around food, their bodies and their own personal power.
